It is true. I ordered a premium awd, er on 10/2/22. Today I got build week. It was frustrating to see people order way after me getting build weeks. If I did not already have a OG mustang GT, I might have ordered a GT MME.

And Selects. I ordered a Select RWD w/ comfort/tech on 1/10 and have the same build week. FWIW I was scheduled on a "no scheduling" week so it's worth checking back every week regardless to see if they slot you in. I'm sure they aren't done scheduling April yet

Every week somebody posts a copy of Ford's scheduling plan for the following week. Sometimes it's a scheduling week for Mach-Es, sometimes it's clean-up scheduling week (so they probably schedule fewer people), and sometimes it says "no scheduling". I (and at least a few others on this forum) was scheduled for a production week on a "no scheduling" week. It seems like most people who are scheduled find their Ford online account updated with a week of production on Thursday mornings. A few weeks later (not sure why the delay, maybe it takes time to become more official) they receive an email confirmation of the week of production, and sometimes it's an updated date.

Already thinking of Mods.

1. Wider tires, dark rims, but keeping the 18" wheels. I took my 2017 GolfR from 19"/performance tires to 18" with higher sidewall and the ride definitely is quieter and you feel less bumps
2. The GT springs/struts on the back wheels
3. If possible swapping in the extended range batteries bigger electric motor for a HP boost.
4. Vinyl black wrap on the from facia to mimic the GT (wife like the black).

Premium Dark Matter Grey AWD ER ordered 1/7. Dealer told me 3-4 months, but I'm not buying it. Also ordered a Model 3 that will deliver between 5/9 and 6/6. I'll cancel whichever order comes in last and make someone happy to buy off the lot.

Ugh, I just got so excited because I got an email that said, "Your Mustang Mach-E Order Has Been Updated" and instructions to click on the button to go to my account. I did and don't see any updated info. I thought maybe I would be one of the lucky ones to get a quick production date! This happen to anyone else?

I reserved a Cali Route 1 AWD on January 4th, waiting on dealer to send the order.

I am tempted to contact the dealer to upgrade my reservation to a GT based on Ford prioritizing those cars first in hopes of getting a Mach E sooner. I'm assuming that theory would not be too far off if upgrading is even possible?

I don't understand Phantom, your dealer won't send the order? That's bizarre, why wouldn't they? So is that the section on the website where it says "Order accepted by dealer"? Mine accepted it the same day I ordered, 1/14.

I was looking on Autotrader yesterday, and saw my Dealer was showing a 2022 Select AWD DMG, exactly like mine as stock. I clicked on it and I was able to view the window sticker and stock photos of the vehicle. The dealership listed the vehicle as “Incoming”. I phoned the sales guy for an update on my MME, and sure enough, he told me it was scheduled for an 11 Apr 2022 build. Fingers crossed. I ordered 24 Jan 2022.
