One of the neat things about Teslas is the visualization of the proximity sensors (check out example below). Anybody know if the Mustang Mach-E has the same hardware and software capabilities?

Ford has had something like that for years. It's not the wavy lines like the Tesla but it does have green, yellow, red bars that pop up and a progressively louder and faster beeps when you get close to objects. The Mach-E should have something similar

Maybe these would help:

Exactly. Sometimes I think people think anything on a Tesla must have been invented by Tesla "WIll the MME have rubber tires?".
Old cars used to have curb "whiskers". I don't think it's the same. It's the visualization that's great and what I would love to see on the Mach-E.

If you buy a Mustang Mach-E with the "Ford Co-Pilot360 Technology" option, you'll get the 360-degree view that you're describing. When equipped for that, the cameras are on the underside of the side mirrors. I had that on two work rentals: very recently on a Nissan Rogue in the U.S., and back in 2015 on a Volvo XC90 in Germany. It was ho-hum, kinda smudgy/blurry on the Nissan, but absolutely incredible on the Volvo. Very helpful for parking such a big vehicle in tight spaces. Fingers crossed that Ford's will be the better variety. :)

For U.S. and Canadian customers, according to Ford's model comparison table, the 360-degree camera is optional for Select and GT, and included on the other models.

It's not 100% clear yet, but it looks as though you need this Ford Co-Pilot360 Technology package in order to get the sensor bar that's used to monitor driver attentiveness... Just something to be aware of. That's tied in with the promised "hands free driving" updates for certain highways.
