The TSB does talk about a kit of foam strips to apply behind the mirror itself. Somebody on here used window screen rubber spline to fill the gap. You know, the rubber that holds the screen into the frame. Available from any DIY place.
My GT PE got a lot quieter when I switched to Falken Azenis Silent Core tires. High performance AS and very quiet.
