Mine cracked today - parked in a lot under the hot Sun - basically the same place as yours - no impact damage from what I can see - starting near the wiper blade

Your cracked windshield looks identical to mine - twice! The first time my windshield cracked was in October right before the recall was issued. I took it back to the dealer and they did the ballpoint pen test and declared it was due to an impact even though the car was literally parked in the driveway when the crack began. I started the car, heard a "pop" and the windshield cracked...exact same spot as yours...bottom edge of the windshield under the passenger wiper blade. I decided to not submit an insurance claim and to wait it out since the recall would be issued soon and they would have to fix it anyway. I dropped off the car on January 11th to have the recall completed and picked it up from the dealership on January 22nd with a brand new windshield.

On March 22nd , the exact same thing occurred with the "pop" and crack in the windshield. It starts from the very same spot under the wiper and travels up the windshield. I've called the dealership multiple times and left messages with the Service Dept. Manager. I have yet to get a call back but I'm sure we will go through the same test and Ford won't honor the warranty. I have a hard time accepting these are all coincidences....there is most certainly something wrong with the design or installation!

I'm at a point now where I am considering selling the car. It's an absolute shame because I love this car! I have no other complaints but I know I can't afford to replace my windshield every two months.
@mccannr1 did you have to pay out of pocket for your window cracks? Mine is in the exact same spot - passenger side - appearing to start about 4” from the end of the wiper traveling up… seems a little suspicious that all of our breaks are nearly identical… wonder if this is a known issue to @Ford Motor Company seems like a material/craftsmanship issue - mine was parked in the Sun and when I came back it was popped. I’ve so had it with this car so far… just one bad thing after another:

I’ve spent decades now on car forums of each car I’ve owned.

Never seen so many cracked windshields on one car.

I’m convinced at this point that these windshields aren’t durable and crack easily.

Mine cracked from a tiny rock one of the first times we went on the highway. And I’ve never cracked a windshield before.

Ours cracked from a small chip on the passenger side. Had it replaced. About 4 months later just noticed a "U" shaped crack from bottom center and spreading to the passenger side. I've had a windshield crack a couple of times over the years but I always remember the sound of something hitting the windshield. Not with this car.

My 2023 that we've had for 4 months developed a crack overnight, starting at the same place on the bottom edge as the photos you all are posting. Dealer has not examined it yet. Has anyone had success getting it covered under warranty?

came Out of work and saw the crack As I began driving. When I got home, saw that it went down below the sight line, so have no idea how long it may have been there. Safelite coming today to replace And recalibrate.

Same issue with my Mache GT 2023. Small crack starting at bottom of passenger side. Safelife is replacing tomorrow. Didn’t think it was a Ford issue until reading this now. Will keep an eye if it happens again.
