Winter Tires: What are you going with?

Interested to see what others are doing with regards to winter tires and rims for this winter. Please share.

I have purchased Michelin X-Ice Snow 225/55 R19.
Was looking for rims as well and just ordered some Fast Wheels FC04 wheels.
Getting them installed at the dealership in a couple of weeks.

I think just staying with all weather/season tires the car comes with. Thats if I ever get the car. ?

I bought the same Fast FC04 rims and put Nokian hakkapeliitta R3 (I think) Rubber on. Recommended by Kaltire For EV. I plan to swap them out this weekend. Hoping for good results This winter…

I swapped the OEMs for Continental Wintercontact TS 860 S - exact same size as the OEMs. Pricey, but so far absolutely outstanding. We've had snow off and on for a month now and much, much better than the tires that came with the FE I received late last winter Great traction, great braking, very quiet and spec'd for EVs.

I bought black alloy powder coated wheels and installed Pirelli Sottozero 3 winter tires. 225 60 18". Installing them in two weeks. I will take a picture when installed.

I picked Hankook winter ipike 225/60/18 on black alloy rims.
Noticing a bit more tire noise at slow speeds. We shall see how they sound on the hiway tomorrow.

Funny! I have the same car (same model and color) as you and bought the same wheels, but in 20 inches for the summer. Really like their look on the car.

As for winter, I went with Nokian Hakka 10 on the stock wheels for my winter set-up.
I prefer them over the R3 in the snow, but he R3 are better on ice. Depends where you drive.
I've only had Nokians since my first set many years ago (Hakka 3 IIRC)

Follow up:

These winters have more road noise than the all seasons...
Had some snow and ice to drive through last night and I was very happy with how the tires performed..
