Hi all. We took delivery of a Mach E GT in June. We ordered an AWD Extended range that should have been arriving in January '23 but the dealer called us when another customer cancelled their order once their GT was already in Antwerp and asked if we wanted to move quick and grab it while it was available. We went ahead and bought the GT but now I'm wondering what people are doing about running a car on summer bias tyres in the winter. It's at Ford today for the recall and the service guys at our dealer say Ford has no approved fitment for winter or all season tyres for the GT. Has anyone else decided to run some more winter bias tyres or are most people just going on the hope the UK winters are rarely below 7C or snowing and hoping the standard GT tyres will get them through? Anyone know if it will cause issues with warranty if you run tyres not 'approved' by Ford for the vehicle? I've never cared what the manufacturer thought of the tyres on my car before but this is our first brand new vehicle and a very costly one at that so don't want to do anything that could put the warranty cover of the drive train at risk.
