I just got the email from my dealer that part of my car is here!

Specifically... this part:

Yeah, I know... just the floor mats. But BY GOLLY IT'S A START! And I can now brag that I have more of my car than anyone else at this time! ?

The real story is I tried to order "Interior Protection Package - Option 17P". Unfortunately it didn't get added with my vehicle order *and* by the time I noticed it was missing, the VIN number had been issued (so no changes could be made).

I had to wait for the floor mats to become available for order via the accessories.ford.com website. They just sent me an email that the mats are now in and "ready to be picked up".

Please let us know if the cargo mat is included. It doesn’t seem to be, but the description online still says it’s a 4 piece set.

It is definitely not included... I had to order that separately. I wasn't going to get it ... but my particular dealer was selling the mats at less than list price. $208 (instead of $250) for the four-piece set of floor mats and $116 (instead of $140) for the Cargo area mat. All the other dealers I checked were charging list price. So I decided to go ahead and order them while I could get the better price.

So the 4-piece floor mat set is actually only 3 pieces, correct?

I was actually waiting for all of them to arrive for the unveiling. I was told the Cargo would be delayed but I'm still waiting for the 4, 3 piece set to arrive.

Two different things. Interior protection package is ordered with the car. Some of us who pre-ordered on day one and didn't follow-up with a dealer didn't know the option was available and had to go the accessories route. The accessories page suggests it is a 4 piece set, but only shows three in the picture. I confirmed with the parts department at my dealer that I had to order both.

Has anyone figured out if it's possible to order the 4-piece "Interior Protection Package" as specified when you order your car -- separately?
Not the 3-piece and then cargo area protector that're available as accessories.

I'm guessing as of now, that's not possible. It's a shame, because I'd like to order it as one unit like we could when ordering the car.
