YouTube Streaming Finally Appears in Software 3.5.3.3 !

I have received numerous OTA’s recently

the results

1: PAAK now doesn’t work in the morning, this happens every day
2: auto lights which have not been a problem now switches to on and I have to turn dial
3: car play, phone etc which had worked 99% of the time now do not work 50% of the time. I could live without car play if I have to but my phone will not connect either, that’s a problem.
4: last but not least I have Alexa.

They spend time getting me useless stuff like Alexa , you tube BS that can only be used when not driving the car and the things I need to drive the car are no longer dependable.

I’m pretty sure Robert had nothing to do with those things. I’d be willing to bet that the folks behind the @Ford Motor Company account didn‘t either, but at least that would be closer.

Do some Sync system reboots if you haven’t already. You can turn off Alexa, too, just tap on it and you can tell it to go away.

I just had the issue with the lights switching from auto to “on.” First time since I got the car a year and a half ago. It happened after my second stop on a short errand run. Weird. The chime going off was the clue.

Here we go again

get in the car tonight with my wife, no FOBs, I am using PAAK and my wife doesn’t

her phone connects while she is on the phone (I get into the car first but when she got in she was on the phone), guest profile loads and her car play is loaded.

why I have no idea, I drove the car last using PAAK

no problems until 3.5.3.3 loaded or maybe 3.5.3. Doesn’t really matter. I really wish they did some testing before they release useless things like U Tube

3.5.4 I just got it. Four updates inside of two weeks!! Perhaps my profile instability was due to 3.5.3.3 not quite being ready for "Advanced Phone" features that sneaked in. 3.5.4 announces the Advanced Phone in the release notes. Here is hoping to improved profile stability.

Im not having the profile bug anymore since 3.5.4. Hopefully that fixed it.

Power-Up 3.5.3 installed last Friday (14 October 2022) and 3.5.3.3 today (17 October).

Screen showed Sync Software Version 22228_539 after 3.5.3; no change with 3.5.3.3

2021 early Job 1, non-EA.
