I traded in my Cyber Orange Select for an Eruption Green GTPU yeterday. I haven't turned the extra torque on yet, that'll be later tonight, but boy do I wish I bought a GT in the first place!

As for the name, it's not from a video game, but ancient history. Incitatus was Caligula's favourite horse. A Mach E is a pony and all... and I'm a despot and a heathen... so it's the perfect name!

**DO NOT** encourage Ford, or any other maker, with this en-shitiification subscription crap. If your car (your property) has components that are not working, that's a **warranty** problem, not a "pay us even more money" problem.

Many people for some reason mistakenly believe that the post-purchase Performance Upgrade is a subscription. It is not. It is a one-time purchase linked to the VIN. It’s like buying the car then buying a set of heads and a cam for it afterward. 🤔🐩

That said, someone reported an issue when they transferred their car to a different FordPass account and @Ford Motor Company is working a logical fix. In that thread Ford confirmed that this is a one-time purchase and should not matter whether the PU was purchased prior to car build or post-sale. 😁🐩

Congrats on the new car! I hope you enjoy it. 😊🐩
I'm taking it on a highway today to feel the power or something. LOL I can tell that it's definitely an upgrade to the Select though!

LOL when I got the 2024 GT in lieu of the 2021 GT I took it on the highway to experience the non-presence of the 5 second limit. I think the biggest difference you're going to see between any year GT and a Select is going to be off the line due to the massive difference in low speed acceleration. Of course, that's going to wear out the tires faster than hitting it on the highway. 😁🐩

Put some aftermarket anti-sway bars in it and it will be even less bumpy. 😁🐩
You say this like I have any talent in my body to do such things. I'm scared to install a dashcam FFS. LOL

I WISH more manufacturers gave us a performance tune purchase option.

Instead I have had to pay aftermarket manufacturers to tune my cars in the past knowing full well I was giving up any powertrain warranty coverage.

Heck I would gladly pay $2k if Ford unlocked more hp and tq while maintaining my warranty on my 21 GTPE.

List of cars and manufacturers that have the components but could gain horsepower with a tune:

Literally every car ever build with a computer.

This is nothing new, except that it’s more rare that you can gain power and keep your manufacturer warranty intact.

Years ago I remember Dodge offering factory tunes on the Neon SRT4 as well as Pontiac offering it on the Solstice. I was a fan of the idea then and a fan now.
