from the sister Lightning site

there's a "ding" sound at the start of the videos and I was like, "wait I know that sound, what the heck is it?" and then I realized it's the backup warning sound. 🤣

note that the Lightning is really the star, and the Mach-E doesn't appear in the third video at all. still fun though. :)

This is very nice, to see people from all walks of life in these videos, doing really creative and useful things! Also liked the Ford Lightening launch event where engineers, long-time workers and others presented parts of the event. It looked like a real teamwork.

This is so contrasting with some other electric car comany, where it is always just one man show who takes all the credits, from dancing to product intro to everything else. As if no one else contributed anything.

Cheers to Ford, for its bright electric future!

How about that FoMoCo publishing infotainment videos for two models that are sold out for 2022 and for which they continue to have trouble delivering "on time"? I love the "ad man's" inventiveness, though, with the tattoo artist decorating seat covers powered by V2L from frunk of BEV pickup. However, in the first two episodes, the MME is just in background since it has no V2L and its frunk is only good for one piece of carry-on luggage. Sorry, this BS does nothing to improve my mood after 21 weeks of waiting for a build date and hoping "my dealer" won't price gouge me if I ever get an MME delivery.

Ford published many videos featuring the Mach-E.* Now it's the F-150 Lightning's turn in the spotlight.

* Also a ton of press releases. Check 'em out.

AND none of them improve my mood about the Ford Mustang Mach e ordered 21 weeks ago and with no build date. I'm ready to go back to the "grumpy" thread.

I'm not someone who watches commercials...ever...I'll come late to a movie theater to avoid the commercials.

I was curious, though, so I've watched these and several others about the F-150 Lightning. I have to say, it's nice to see team-based conversations in these advertisements. It's nice that Ford is thinking about how its new EV truck might be used by someone who may never have considered a truck before, but might do so now because it's not just being advertised to big, burly, "manly-men" with chop saws, horse trailers, and mud holes.

I just wish we had a 1500W-3000W inverter in the Mustang too. I'm seriously considering adding one in a year or so, after any potential gremlins have had their time to chew through the car.

Smart. I think they are trying to get black folks interested in the electric truck. Nice they are including communities of color that are often overlooked IMHO

I agree. It's nice to see advertisements that recognize we have a lot of different people in our society, many of whom might have any number of reasons for wanting the thing that didn't used to be aimed at them.
