Yep.
He's right for all the reasons he listed and probably for a few more he didn't.
Good take on the Mach-E.

And as a V8 Mustang Owner, it's cars like the Mach-E which will ALLOW Ford to keep making the ICE Mustang variants.

I may not like CAFE Standards and practically unattainable MPG requirements but even if this current administration rolled back those MPG thresholds, a new Administration (sooner or later) will come in and reinstate or even increase the Hussein-era standards making EVs even more critical to keeping a V8 ICE Mustang and others like it in showrooms and on the roads.

Regardless what the rabid ICE Mustang Faithful think of the name, the V8s need this EV more than they are willing to admit, since they're blinded by their naming/heritage rage and not seeing the big picture.

But again, a good video.

A good and entertaining way of stating Ford's case. It will sell well. If Ford can build it with a consistent quality Tesla has trouble with, it should cause a lot of interesting waves through EV land.

I good video I happen to be a Mustang owner and the use of the Mustang name on a EV crossover doesn't bother me in the least.

I currently own 2 V8 Mustangs and the Mach E will be my 4th. I can see why purists shun the electrified future, but without electrification there can be no future for the Mustang. Only time will tell how it will be received but at least we can be part of the future.
