🤔the other option is mirroring the map and the lyrics on the dashboard
I’m fine with the ipc and sync screens as they currently are on my 2021. Change just to change isn’t an improvement.

Yes to this. I don’t need a replica of the 2025 screen. I do want more information. Time and temperature, drive mode, and power meter.
Charge rate on the drivers display while charging would also be fantastic.

I just want the current song playing and next up would be a bonus.

Rate of charge on any vehicle display!!
For the love of god why is this so difficult for Ford to do?!
It’s been requested for years.

honestly, I’d be more pissed if I was a 2024 owner that got their car a year ago and now they may already not be getting 1.5. Ford should definitely be retrofitting new units in those vehicles if it truly is a hardware limitation. I don’t expect it for me (2021 vehicle) without paying, but I’d be a bit pissed as a 2024 owner.
I leased my '24 in order to capture the rebate, but initially I assumed I would keep it after the lease ends. If Ford has already abandoned improving the software of the 2024 models then I certainly won't be keeping it and I will definitely be looking at other brands' EVs to replace my MME when the lease is up.

I love the car but there is some really low hanging fruit from a software perspective that makes interacting with the car on a daily basis frustrating (like frunk/trunk buttons, camera speed limitations, lack of manual preconditioning, making the parking button do something). Sure, don't give us BC 1.5 if it requires new hardware, but give me a bloody trunk button on the giant screen.

I don't want a Tesla for many reasons, but I am very envious of how they continue to push out software updates for the older vehicles in their fleet.

it does have frunk and trunk switch on the big screen, on the right top of the drive mode selection page

I should have been more specific. I shouldn't have to drill into a page to open the trunk. If I am using Carplay, I should be able to open the trunk/frunk on the top or bottom half of the screen without navigating away from Carplay.

Opening the drive mode selection page would be more tolerable if it didn't take nearly a second to open.

I don’t think they’ll completely abandon improvement updates, but sounds like unless you have a 2025 you’re SOL on getting new BlueCruise features.

Yeah, it makes no sense why this hasn’t just been added to the top menu bar considering it has plenty of space for the buttons to go there.

I've seen a lot of folks ask about this! I don't have an answer (yet), but I have been asking the right questions to the product teams.
Been a little bit, and with your recent success re: the climate controls in the app… have you heard anything about this? Also, could we get the charging speed on the IPC? 😅

There are hardware differences.
