I'm not too worried about the bed. But I'm a little concerned that the rest of it will be so streamlined that it won't look like a truck (though I trust it won't be as bad as a Cybertruck). I liked that the Lightning was a real F-150. If the new one comes out something like a Maverick that would be good.

If you blow up the exposure in the aero shots from the recent EUV video, you get a better sense of the overall shape of the truck.

There's something curious going on at the back end of the cabin, but I can't quite make sense of what it is. Some sort of curved surface, by the looks of it.

I think I heard Farley hint in an interview a while ago that the T1(?) design had active aero. I wonder if we're seeing something like that in the picture.

The original ranchero was based on the Torino (a passenger car). I’d fully expect this thing to look like some form of weird Mustang Mach-E-ish / Maverick hybrid. In my mind’s eye, I sort of see something vaguely like a Mustang Mach-E cut sharply about where the C pillar on a regular car would be (maybe around the end of the glass roof), and a maverick bed/rear axle welded on. Oh, and anyone want to take bets on the possibility of an optional ICE under the hood, coupled with a very small battery back?

The crown is where you wind/set a traditional watch, IWC Schaffhausen is an uber expensive Swiss watch maker

Yeah, it’s weird, right? It’s like they forgot to enclose the back quarter of the vehicle. Who does that?

I fixed it for them. Ford should hire me as a designer 🧑‍!
