if law gets passed and the car qualifies there are ways to get money earlier

probably not if gets passed as it now exists. Not US made and certain versions of car might be too expensive unless Ford gets car reclassified to SUV or anything other than normal car.

i am sure they are lobbying for a change to EPA classification

I believe it is just the date the window sticker is produced, mine is 12/2 but car was in production on 12/10

I think only OP got that privilege/luck. it needs some employee on site to have accepted the activation on screen i think.

my sales guy didn't send me a picture but read it to me off his computer. He said my secondary status currently shows "Sent Offsite" anyone heard of that one before? He had no clue what that means.

Congrats, it means much better news that what I got from my dealer. You should have a fighting chance of seeing you car by Feb 2022.

I posted my above message and then saw this pic that you had posted. Looks like i am in Sent offsite state which means the ETA description must be Chip Hold. I am joining the sad clown face party.

so I called my dealer again asking what is actually filled in ETA Disposition and it says "Manual Adjusted".
Anyone have any ideas of what that means?

Totally Understand! i was in the same boat of not wanting to call all week. eventually gave in. Even if bad news I needed to know. Should have called Monday though at least wouldn't be sulky all weekend.

My “Scheduled For Production” date was 12/6 and then when it reached “In Production”, the date changed to 12/7, which is my current status. I’m pretty much convinced my car is on hold until 01/08/2022 because that is the “Estimated Delivery” on the tracker site and not the delivery to the dealer but the date parts will arrive at the factory to complete the build. This lines up with the First Edition Mach-E I ordered last year.

I checked back at the First Edition’s production history, using emails. It started production Dec 7, 2020, reached built status on Jan 6, 2021, and arrived in Feb 2, 2021.

I also went to Ford’s website and found “local” inventory within 500 miles of Oklahoma City. I looked at the window stickers for those stock vehicles, 15 of them, and was able to pull up a “In Production” to “Shipped” history for 3 of them. The other 12 wouldn’t show data, or the website said the vehicle had already been delivered. Some of the 12 showed “Dealer Ordered” and those hadn’t entered production yet. All three of the ones I could pull up history for had at least one month difference between “In Production” and “Built”. So with my 12/7/2021 date, I don’t expect it to say built until 01/08/2022. The three pictures below show these vehicles. Maybe others waiting on their Built Date can do the same research to confirm this production cycle timing.

Of course, this is a guess based on others’ posts and other vehicle histories with the FE I passed on. It is walking and quacking like a duck though... ??
