Another One Gets Spoiled AKA Murse-In-Airy is at it again with new hatch spoiler

I wasn’t first on this one, but I’ll post because my take on things is a little different. Got my “GT” spoiler installed today. Not a fan of the “regular” spoilers everyone has been adding as, in my opinion, they just look like the liftgate has been extruded a little further. But the GT version looked like it might dress things up a bit.

So I went for it.

Had to reopen the DIY Vinyl shop. Black on black didn’t really show at all. Too much stealth action.

Tried wrapping the entire side wing in red vinyl. But that was too over the top. I probably would have loved it 30 years ago. Now I thought it looked like a matchbox reject.

So I settled on red vinyl on just the back edge for a little highlighting. Then I had to stripe the middle of the spoiler to match the rest of the car. Luckily I’ve still got plenty of vinyl sitting around, left-overs from this spring’s projects. Overall, I’m very happy with a little more customization of my one-of-a-kind Mach-E.

I ordered the spoiler from an Etsy Store by a guy on FB. Here

And the Vinyl is VVIVID+ Here
I started with their stuff 8 months ago when I striped the car and find it fairly easy to work with.

I saw this one on Amazon and thought, just like you...24 years ago that would have been great on my '97 Mustang GT. But in my more "sophisticated years". it seemed too much .

Now I see yours on your MME and the way you did the vinyl. Well done! Subtle details that are just right. Knowing when enough is enough, determines a good design.

Again...a sarcastic "thanks". It is back in my wish list.

I really take no credit for becoming more sophisticated. I’ve just learned to ask the wife before committing to anything. I value her opinion on everything.
