Really? A 15 cent price increase, equal to about $60 fuel cost over the summer, will drive people to buy a Mach-E?
In Washington State we a range from $3.76 to $4.80 in the Seattle region. When the spring summer blends start it jumps almost a dollar.

Wow, that is a crazy swing due to seasonal mixes, here in Virginia we change maybe 10-20 cents like the previous poster said. And, all the research I have found shows the change to only be in the range of 15 cents.

So if this normal seasonal swings, how will this change EV sales?

It won't. Folks will bitch and complain about gas prices, but they will not buy a 60k-100 k EV because of it. Not in any noticeable numbers. They did not before they will not again.

I’m took my car into have some work done night drop. Was 645p. The salesman ran to be asking to buy my car Only thing I regret in the beginning was not getting the extended range but at the time it was almost $8k more. Now they dropped. I entertained the salesman end of the story I could get a red MME extended for $200 more a month. I said no and that was the final offer. He said I’d qualify for $7500 credit. I said.in 23!I qualified only for $3750. He began to question me. I had to school him. So 45min of my
Time was wasted. So no. No one is rushing here and the websites are not reflecting any push by the pricing. Check out a few dealers in the Seattle area. Lots of inventory but no salespeople are pushing

Well, they tried the confusing “move the MSRP” game and that didn’t work.

Maybe they’ll try the rebate game some more?

They may also be hoping Tesla price go back up.

I don’t think it would look nearly as bad if Tesla didn’t drop prices so much last year.

At least 20,000 of the 400,000 who bought a Model Y might have gone for a Mach E. And then we would be rejoicing a 50% year over year increase.
But again, $15,000 swing in tax credits vs the Model Y. Just can't overcome that much loss with price cuts, especially when the car is losing so much money for Ford in the first place.

Granted, the dealers that still have a bunch of 2023s will be taking it in the shorts to unload them.

I haven't heard if Ford is scaling back MME production like they have Lightning production, but I assume so.

It’s just my thought. But generally by February they would drop prices crazy not just showing a discount for he ev credit. For the price of the MME extended range I’d reconsider a 2024 Lyriq in the same price range

Try a different dealer. Mine in CO is showing $4000-$5000 dealer discounts on most of the (21) MMEs they have in stock, trying to unload them. That's on top of $3000 Ford incentive. And before further price negotiation that could probably get it even lower.

They're losing money on them as it is. Both the dealer and Ford.

Used prices shouldn't be nearly as bad for the Mach-E relative to the Model Y like it is for new, because the $15,000 swing on tax credits won't apply.

Seems to me the only people who care about this one way or another are those who feel a need to have their personal preferences validated by someone else. Buy what you like. Be happy. What other people choose really doesn't matter.

Cadillac just cut off $7500 from the price of the Lyriq. In response Ford dealers jacked up the MSRP back up to pre Tesla price drop levels . Im shocked that they aren't asking for market adjustment fees .

There are 2 dealers on this very site that are part of the problem. One is offering a Gt with 1300 miles on it for $75000.Its been on his lot for 200+ days . The other when called out for the inflated MSRP said he didn't know anything bout the MSRP price drops and gosh golly'd his way into saying "tell me more ".
Had a dealer on the news during covid actually telling the viewers we should THANK him for the gouging (market adjustment fees ) because if he couldn't do it we peasants wouldn't have a place to buy cars because he'd be outta business.

Pick a different dealer. There's lots of them.

Here's the most expensive brand-new 2023 Mach-E (GT Performance) at my dealer...
