Glad I'm not the only one with random no sound from carplay songs even though the display says it's playing. I sent voice feedback to ford.

Same problem with no audio through CarPlay here. My fix is usually to restart sync using the steering wheel buttons, but disconnecting CarPlay on my phone then reconnecting also works. Very annoying since this seems to be happening multiple times per week recently.

This happened to me occasionally as well, but it's occurring way more recently. It usually works after I restart Sync but sometimes it takes a couple of tries.

iPhone 15 pro max. Will have wireless CarPlay connect and maps work like it should, but song will play with no sound (podcast, music etc). Seems to happen more often when wife is in car with her phone as well. I have it happen to me once. With wife, 3-4 times in the last 4-6 weeks or so.
My problem exactly - except the wife part. I would stop, turn off the car, and turn it back on and that usually fixed it. Since then, I go to Phone Settings and turn off CarPlay and then turn it back on. Usually comes back with sound.

You don't need to go to the phone. You can go to the phone settings on the car (even while driving) and turn off then on CarPlay there. Works for me.

For me its carplay wireless.
Amen-
Same thing here. It’s always a battle to figure out which of our phones is connected if I’m driving and wifey isn’t. Way too many times her phone connects. I can understand if it’s the first phone that approaches the car but we have same phones and I can get in/near before her and yet her phone attaches to CarPlay.

Doesn’t even seem related to who drove it last. More random than not and not always.

Probably this and the same with profiles are the only nits I have with the car. Otherwise it’s stupendously awesome!
