As many know, there was a price increase- Fords Annual ESP Increase- which started this month!

The increase is different depending on the vehicle and Warranty Plan, but more than last year, unfortunately.

With that increase that took place, we are going to continue our $25 over dealer cost for new and used plans.

Similar to my 2022 F150 Powerboost, I am waiting to see if my 2023.5 Mach-E is a "keeper"

It's about 6 months now, so still less than the 12 month milestone. But I'm fixing to pull the trigger on my Granger ESP yet again. ?

1 question though......

On the Powerboost, at the time I purchased the ESP, Granger's charge for the warranty showed up as "Air Conditioning" repair under the vehicles service records. It was the result of Ford's system not having a compatible input, or something like that, so it was flagged as the first item alphabetically. Therefore "AC"

I'm assuming that snag/bug has been addressed? Not that it matters in the long run, but it always feels odd to see an air conditioning repair listed for the truck, which has been pretty much flawless for 2.5 years.

When we processed a service contract, we are required to enter it through our dealer management system. We have 3 options for transactions: a car sale, repair order or parts ticket. Ford allows us to process this as a repair order and our dealer management system and Ford are mis-categorizing the transaction as an air conditioning / heater concern and then are doubling the transaction price.

This is only reflecting in your Ford pass incorrectly and is not on your warranty or repair history. We've been in contact with Ford on resolving the issue but it hasn't been fixed unfortunately.

But it is kind of hilarious, when you think about it. Ford is too big to fix a small back office bug.

Anyways, like I mentioned, I'll be grabbing an ESP for my second keeper, shortly. Thanks for the good work and the response sir.

It is officially October and that means the cold sets in ( for Iowa at least) ?

When it gets this cold and once there is snow on the ground, vehicles tend to not want to always start or that is when issues become true issues!
- Car battery may not be able to hold a charge

- Oil gets thicker in colder temperatures which mean it is harder on your engine, especially for it to turn over. (using the right oil is important!)

- Fluids and lubricants could congeal

- Technology in the vehicle may freeze up or stop working. Theses days, there is some much technology in a vehicle and anything can go wrong.

- Frozen fuel lines

- Spark plugs not firing

- Corrosion

With an ESP and normal maintenance, thess thing can be helped and prevented.

New or Used ( 2014 or newer & less than 86k), get your ESP @ $25 over dealer cost!
