Job 1 2021 being given some love at last by Ford:
Frunk update - 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX
Body Control Module 23-PU0924-DLDC
Power UP 6.8.0
Door Module - 23-PU0314-DCM-LAT
Power UP 6.14
IPMA-24.204.8.27
ECG-25.2.5.7.1
Priority Update SYNC - 24.2.1.6.2 - Bluecruise 1.1E
SYNC 4 Software Version 24269_PRODUCT Revision 1387
System Information - Software Version 1.81.53
Navigation Version 1.448.51
Software Update 10.1.1

After 6.8.0 I notice that the turn display in the driver display now only operates when close to a junction or turn off. I used to like seeing it continually displayed as it gave more mental preparation for turns etc in unfamiliar surroundings. Now have to keep switching from the main screen to the driver display which is more distracting for me.

May as well have bought a Tesla if I was going to keep checking the main screen. At least there's only one place to look. There should be a settings option to keep the turns continually displayed.

Edit - 26/10/2024 (No one noticed I stated 2025 in the title) :) I was hoping that the door module update would have stopped the 3 or 4 button presses needed to open the doors. Unfortunately it's the same. Edited title date.

I've now got the Karaoke app. Yippee, my life is now complete. :headbang:

A bit geeky but I take a photo with my phone of the screen and keep a list. Unfortunately, the display (and FordPass) only keeps a record of the previous update which then disappears completely after a couple of weeks or even sooner sometimes. Perhaps drop a private message to wonkey_donkey here on the forum with your VIN and he should be able to provide some details of previous updates and modules not yet updated. Please bear in mind he does this as a favour so he may not be able to provide the information immediately as, for all of us life gets in the way sometimes.

As yours is a 2024 model it should be relatively up to date anyway.

Thank you, I will send a message.

Do we (in the UK) have the Google Maps update that shows us estimated charge on arrival etc?

And where does it show when an update has been done? I'll probably take screenshots too ?

I don't know about the Google maps update. What you'll find is that we lag behind the U.S. in relation to software updates.:(

There will be a pop up in the information bar to inform you if an update is scheduled or it will inform you one has been downloaded in the timeframe you've selected. (See below).

Scheduling an Over the Air System
Update

Make sure Vehicle Connectivity and
Automatic Updates are switched on.
Using the Settings Menu
1. Open the application drawer.
2. Press the System Updates button.
3. Press Schedule Update.
4. Use the controls to set the time and
day of the update.
5. Save the schedule.
Using the Status Bar Icon
When an update is available, tap
the notification icon and follow
the prompts on the screen.

Apple Maps on iPhones has shown the estimated charge on arrival for a while and will also route via your preferred charging stations (well some such as Ionity and others). Didn’t know google had also started to roll it out.
On apple maps I’ve found the charge on arrival pretty accurate (if anything it’s always been slightly higher on arrival) however there is one major issue with it which is as follows, it seems to always want you to get home with 30% so plans in charging enroute which I can’t find how to remove which is a pain as it factors in any charging enroute to the final arrival charge which is bloody annoying on longer trips
I don’t want to charge even if on arrival I’ve only 10-15% left let alone 30%

There is a stoppage for 2021 software updates???
Has been for over 6 months but I believe some 2021s in the Early Access Program (EAP) in the U.S. have started to receive the BlueCruise 1.3 OTA so fingers crossed we should not have to wait too much longer.

6.2.1 was released in November 2023 so it looks like your car is catching up with all the updates pre the stoppage. Latest I received was 6.8 and 23-PU1024-6CH-AUD which was released in March 2024. Waiting for 10.1.0 which I believe has BlueCruise 1.3 for 2021s.

Are these OTA updates or FDRS pushed? My 21 has had none of these updates.

I’ve had a few newer ones too - specifically gateway ones, so I think they’ve pushed them and it’s opened the gates for others to come in.

It paused over Xmas I think, but seems to be running again. The APIM must be large as it’s taking ages.
