In Dec 2021 I had front end repair work for more than $8000 after hitting a deer on a road trip. The Ray Schultens Body Shop competed the repairs, and the MME has had errors and problems since. I have taking my MME back to the shop several time to get the issues corrected. It has still not been corrected.

Last week I took my MME to a different dealer 60 miles away to have them look into the issues. They found that someone had wrapped a damaged portion of the front wiring harness with green electrical tape. When they removed the tape they could see damaged wires. The service tech told me that wiring harness should have been replaced. The body shop charged my insurance for full repairs.

The damaged wiring harness plugs into the front center radar module and the right pre-collision sensor. That explains BC and Lane Centering failing intermittently. It also explains the errors in Oasis for the front right sensor that have been present in every Network and Sefl-Test my MME has preformed since getting ti repairs at Ray Schultens Ford.

Underriner Ford now own the dealership, but the same people that did a faulty repair and lied about it when I asked if they had replaced the wiring harness or front right sensor.

Their service department is slow, but okay. The Body Shop I would not trust to watch my pet rock!

Tomorrow I need to call my insurance company and have them get the MME fixed properly and let them go after Underriner for the fraudulent charges for repairs they claimed to have completed.

I got a call from Ford Consumer EV Relations yesterday about this issue. Repair costs are going to be $803 out of my pocket to fix the body shop mistakes. I am going to talking to a lawyer about this after I get my MME back with all the supporting paperwork and new photos.

Just curious...I live in the Portland metro area, is this where you brought your MME "60 miles away"? If so, which one, please? I'm always on the lookout for dealer opinions. Thanks!

I bought my MME at St Helens Ford/Jeep. They gave me a good price but be careful of the back-end add-ons. There will be many to decline.
