First Edition here also . . . other than recalls, completely trouble free so far at 55k miles. Just replaced the 12V battery and tires recently. Looks and rides like new! Best vehicle owned so far, depreciation not withstanding. Plan to keep well into the future.
Margaret -The Bskt Dsgn light up ponies don't require much physical dexterity, but it does require some hand dexterity, especially for the front pony installation.
The rear is fairly easy to accomplish, just don't try to connect the reverse light connection.
I believe the California warranty on battery components is longer than 100k. I think 10 years and 150k miles. Not sure if it covers the HVBJB or just the battery itself.
Made the 101 trip several times. Using EA is very possible, BUT, likely crowded chargers with all the free charging cars for EA.
VERY easy using Tesla charging . . . . lots of compatible Tesla chargers along the way that are not very crowded on non-holiday weekends.

I used the Triple Care for some door dings. I was referred to a 3rd party provider, who did fabulous work (even found a few small additional dings), and direct billed the insurer. No out of pocket cost to me (meaning I didn't need to get reimbursement). All worked well.
