When both a better EV (by my criteria including price), and probably not until something new has been out a couple of years... My Mach E is a bit over 2 years old, and probably not for another 4 at the earliest, but could easily stretch out to 10 or more years.
Many of us knew, by specs of the suspension alone, well before anyone could get a test drive that the Lyriq would have a better suspension. The only model MME that would be able to compare to Lyriq would be the MME GT performance edition with active suspension, or the ride quality would be not...
I doubt it will completely go away. If it does, more people will go completely off the grid and avoid the access fee. I know it would mean putting up more panels and probably have to double my battery bank, and cost more than the saving from being off grid, but it's the principle of the...
I set my powerwall to Time-Based Control and set it to reserve 40% for backup and gave it the buy and sell based time of day rates and let the powerwall optimize for when to charge batteries and when to send to grid and when pull from grid or pull from batteries. I charge at lower rates even if...
To be fair, most of Tesla vehicles is in different market. The model S and maybe X are the only two that are comparable and that was 10,695 deliveries for Q1. Still 10X, but not 175X...
Never was sick from eating there, and must of had subway at least a couple of hundred times over the last 30 years. Subs are ok, but I really like their macadamia nut cookies.
It is largely your driving style and the mode. In 2PD mode, unbridled is not as smooth as whisper. On the plus side, unbridled is more aggressive of using regen when you take your foot off the brake and is more efficient then 1PD as it will not kick in the mechanical brakes (unlike 1PD) until...
That's because there are not many good PHEVs. They all have one or more of the following issues:
Too expensive, might as well get a BEV
Too short of an all electric range
Too boring / slow (ie: prius)
Only a compliance vehicle, such as only sold in CARB states, or extremely limited supply...
How is that not useful? Seems like that is the most useful in determining if it's worth the price difference between a Mach E with a bigger battery and a PHEV with a modest electric range or not. The question is how much fuel will you be saving, and so you are saying only about 30 gallons a...
I would not rule out of AWD Cadillac Lyriq, but it's more comparable to the high end Mach-E GT PE and it's a different style but value wise pretty close. IMO the ID.4 is only good because it's the easiest one you can find on a lot (there is a reason for that, mainly it doesn't measure up...)...
