Was working in my GT earlier today and this error came up. So I retrace my steps and what resolve the issue was unplugging and replugging the connector underneath the driver side (I believe it’s the door module) and I notice the ground was lose and tightened the 10mm bolt. Error went away…
Nice!
I am working on my GTPe as well.

Yours looks great!
Economically, I don’t believe it make much sense to retrofit using OEM salvage parts consider the aftermarket version behaves exactly like the OEM version. Nonetheless, it’s certainly doable as you highlighted but at 2x (or more the cost), it’s an expensive option when another is less…
It’s always good to see a vendor who gives back; although not require for every vendor, it speaks volume on the commitment from the vendor. Salute to you guys BestEVMod.
When I worked with Autoease to create the trunk aftermarket liftgate we talked about the frunk as well. Not impossible, but decided the effort wasn’t worth the time and R&D. Need to have at least 25 people who are interested and willing to pay to cover initial investment and that’s tough.

I’m pretty sure all my installs (I’ve done about 10) consists of placing the latch motor below the rear trims and routed to the right side. I unclip the trims and tucked the unit and connectors there too.
