Not quite yet. The government just opened the door but it takes time to get Canadian certifications and set up dealerships. Apparently BYD's goal is to have Canadian dealerships opened by the end of 2026, but wouldn't surprise me to see it slip to 2027.

For what it's worth, I drove from Ottawa to Kingston round trip a few days ago without needing to stop for a charge. ~310 km total and got home with 15% remaining. Took Highway 7 so averaged 90 km/h. The temperature was around -10 C. I did precondition on plug before starting out from Ottawa.

I honestly probably would have gone with an Equinox if they had Android Auto. I can't wrap my head around why so many manufacturers don't support it.

In fairness to AI, Ford's support notes does imply preconditioning requires the navigation subscription. They really should be making it more clear that you can precondition with just Android Auto on its own.

I still have my Ford nav trial active so I can't test it myself, but other users without Ford nav have verified that it does precondition.
