I realize this thread is a little ranty. I did expect to be a guinea pig in this process and have given the dealership a lot of slack and understanding while they figure out how to service these cars. To your point, I think for such an expensive car that represents a pretty significant...
I was initially optimistic when @Ford Motor Company showed up on these forums directly responding to people's requests for help. But the lack of coordination between Ford customer relations (i.e., this social media presence), the engineers, and the dealerships effectively means it's all for...
Believe me, I'll be far happier if they figure out how to fix it via software instead of having to give up my car for another 1+ weeks. But mine has been offline since early June, FordPass support tells me the modem isn't responsive, and the service tech had multiple communications with Ford...
Looks like the same issue I'm having. After a week at the dealership where they applied some new updates that were apparently supposed to fix exactly this problem, it's still not resolved.
According to the FordPass support people, the modem just isn't responding. For me, the problem started...

It's at the dealer now and apparently the service manager is in touch with Ford...
Did you happen to get the recent PAAK recall update installed at your dealer? I'm convinced that the update bricked or misconfigured my car's modem, and this is one of the symptoms.
Unfortunately after digging a bit further I'm worried my modem is completely busted... I removed the car from my account, and now FordPass returns an error when attempting to send the activation request - "Sorry, your authorization rights for [Mach E] could not be changed. Please try again...
Cloud connectivity between my car and the FordPass app has been completely broken since 3.24 - the last successful refresh was on June 8th. I can't view my charge level, push any settings, or remote start.
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm reluctant to remove the car from my garage and...
I got the PAAK recall notice with the new version and was able to schedule service through the app. So that was nice.
Unfortunately, communications with the car seem to be completely broken (even after the update service). The app hasn't received any charge status from my Mach E since June 8...
