Also announced today is that Rivian is "pausing" the construction of their $5B assembly plant in Georgia. As a nearby resident to this pipedream, I don't know how to feel. They plowed under hundreds of acres of bucolic farmland and now it's going to be a brand new brown field...
I'm in the Please try again click reserve again loop. It took a couple of dozen Gathering Data screens to get here.

Well, I'll pile on to this Ford Credit scrum. I contacted FC about refinancing my Options balloon payment and the rep said "We're not a bank, we just process payments. You'll need to contact a financial institution." He offered to send me a payoff letter that I could take to the "financial...
I have had it happen more than once when I back out of my shaded garage into bright sunlight. My driveway is level and there are no nearby objects. Just a very distinct shadow cast by the garage roof.
I'm not a fan of how it slams on the brakes at low speed. I'll leave it on though, just in...
Thanks for the fast response. As far as comfort vs tech, I have a basic Select with no options. I wanted to be an early adopter, but I didn't want the complications of all of software driven features. So far, so good except for the OTA process.

Yes, we have AT&T coverage. But I watched the network monitor and saw the connected SYNC downloading data via my home wifi network. I see that other folks have received OTAs on residential wifi. I'm with you, maybe OTAs are working as originally promised.
I used to have this opinion until yesterday. My car connected with my home wifi network and downloaded and updated to 2.6.0. The connected device was SYNC not TCU.
It had failed a few days earlier. On the failed attempt the connected device was TCU.
So, I don't know what the preferred process...
I don't doubt you. I only know how my MME is working. Everytime I check my network it shows the MME off line. I was a "stuckee" and my upgrade to 2.1.0 after my dealer visit occurred away from my network. I have fiddled with update schedule, automatic update, etc. and so far no joy.
