Screen window spline is cheap and you can get it at Ace Hardware by the foot. Insert it in the space with your finger.

That's how I fixed my noise. But if people say the TSB works I may let ford fix it. I left a little of the spline stick out so I could get back out. My brother does YouTube channel on Mach-E I want to show him the noise problem. But I noticed once someone pulled out to spline. As soon as I started driving I knew something was wrong. Loud wind noise again.

The wind may have pulled the spline out if a portion of it was already out. You could always get it out using a toothpick.

Had the TSB repair done a few weeks ago. No noticeable difference. Did not work.

Thank you to everyone that's contributed to this thread. I had the same mirror wind noise in my 23 Premium AWD Ext and this thread helped me consider fixes. I ended up going a different route and we'll see how it holds up!
I found a rubber trim piece on Amazon that I inserted in the gap and it has fixed the wind noise.
