Select AWD -- I absolutely hear this. Higher speeds sounding like its coming from windows area...

I confirmed I was not part of the recall too

A number of us fixed our wind noise problem back around March, 2021. This might help with some of the problems here: Roof Wind Noise *Fixed*

Select doesn't have the glass roof.
As Gilda Radner used to say then, never mind :) (and, others with the glass roof might see the link who scan here by the general title wind noise)

I just took delivery of a Mach-E Premium 2022. I can confirm I hear the wind noise from the side windows as well. Before anybody says it, I've been driving around at 50+mph putting my head near the windshield/glass roof and its dead quiet. However, I put my head near the A-pillar and its 100% coming from there. Messing with the mirrors folding in/out definitely changes the intensity of the noise. The noise in my opinion is being created from the crosswind/wind going over the driver side mirror. However, the noise is atrocious. The seals/window fittings should account for this and I feel like they're not. Its incredibly loud.

Also wanted to point out that I have the Premium w/ Tempered glass windows. It seems like at some point in 2021/2022 they changed to Tempered glass for Premiums and not the Laminated. Wondering if that's part of the cause?

We took delivery about two weeks ago and have the same wind noise issue. I made an appointment with my dealer for the first week of December. I hope they can address it. I may reach out to the Ford rep on this Forum before the appointment.

Let me know what you find out! Interested to hear if you make progress. Do you have a Premium? I have the all white interior too. I’m at the point now where I don’t know if it’s the interior components such as the plastic pillar shrouds. So I’m throwing out as much detail as I can to see if we can collect data points.

Wind noise in my GT always sounds like the back windows are cracked open, just enough to disengage from the weather seal.

Better than the Tesla, though, which had effectively no sealing anywhere. The road noise that made its way up through the bottoms of the doors...

Yes I have premium with the space gray aka white interior. There is a thread on Reddit also on this issue. The last post on the thread from about a week ago stated:

"Brought to dealership today - took the car for 2 hours and told me ford notified them it is a bad door seal fit, a known issue. Since the right door does not do this wonder if they ran out of the standard parts during production...

They ordered a new one (backorder) will be here in 3 weeks or so."

So I am hoping it can be fixed.

Hi there, Bruce! I can look into your Mach-E's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your F-150’s VIN?

Just an update in case anyone is interested. Serviced my car yesterday for my wind noise issue. The notes of the service are as follows:

"Checked for TSB SSB none found . Checked operation of side window. Heard wind noise. 4 side tape window around top. Re road tested noise still there. Taped around review mirror, still there. Re initiallize drive glass. Road tested, noise is gone."

I haven't had a chance to drive on the highway yet to verify, but the dealer did put over 10 miles on the car, I assume road testing for the noise.

This is my first Ford and the dealer so far has been great!
