I have what I consider a lot of wind noise. Could this be typical road noise from tires?
Doors and windows. Seems to close all the way I have taped around doors windows even the glass top no change

There’s no engine to mask road noise. The Mach-e is a generally quiet car. Depending on tour year and model, there may be a ton of sound dampening glass and some sound proofing. Even without those, however, it’s quiet. Unless the noise is specifically air noise leaking into the cabin, it’s probably normal slipstream, motor whining, and tire noise.

I did this mod shortly after getting my 2023 MME; made a notable improvement in road noise. Cost a few dollars from Amazon.

I notice the wind noise from the gap between the outside mirrors and the A pillar especially when riding with windows down. Nothing can be done about it so I just turn up the music. :)

Mach-E is noisier than our Lightning. Bad wind noise, 45mph and higher. Both 21 and 22.

I took my 2024 premium in for wind noise. The first time failed to fix it but the second time was a charm. See below regarding the wind noise issue. I thought Ford knew of the issue when the dealer fixed mine. This is an AI response to my inquiry regarding the wind noise issue.

TSB for Wind Noise (Not a Recall)

Ford issued a TSB covering 2021–2024 Mustang Mach-E models built on or before July 9, 2024, for wind noise coming from the exterior mirrors and/or A-pillar area at speeds between 25–40 mph. The problem stems from poor sealing of the lower mirror foam and the glass top run foam. Ford instructs dealers to fix it by installing new lower inner foam and glass top run foam.

As this is not a recall, Would this be fixed if warranty has expired?

Yes it should because it’s a known problem and a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) was issued. Check with your dealer and let the forum know.

No, TSBs are NOT covered after warranty expires.

Well AI just said no if it’s out of warranty, but this will help in getting it fixed.
I just googled (Ford Authority, Mach E wind noise) The response actually list the TSB number and also included a do it yourself (DIY) repair info. Check it out.

Community DIY Fixes
Many Mach-E owners report that getting dealerships to replicate the noise can be frustrating. For an immediate or alternative fix, consider these community-proven methods:

Mirror gaps: Owners on the MachE Forum have successfully reduced whistling by inserting a small piece of rubber tube or applying exterior-grade black edge trim/tape to the gaps behind the side mirrors.
Door Seals: Applying a quality rubber conditioner to door seals can restore their thickness and block out drafts.
