Yep, we did Route 66 in April in a 2026 Mustang Mach-E!

Ford Racing is headed back to Pikes Peak thisweek with the Super Mustang Mach-E! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and Romain Dumas can win King of the Mountain again!
We've probably been to more meetups and in events in our Mustang Mach-E than anyone plus we have the benefit(?) of online comments on our videos.
I've found the a huge majority of people accept the Mustang Mach-E as a Mustang. We get asked, "Is that your Mustang?" or "Is that you electric...
I think it is more about the fact that Bill Ford named it so that is the name. You wouldn't go to a parent and argue with them about what to call their kid. 🤷♂️
From the original 1964 Ford Mustang press release:
"The Mustang was designed to provide a new dimension in motoring... combining sports car styling and performance with the comfort and convenience of a compact family car."
You could say that really applies to the Mustang Mach-E. Of course...
Unfortunately the Mustang isn't a mustang. You can argue that it's named a Mustang. The Mustang was added for marketing and nothing else. Take that away and it doesn't meet any other requirements of a mustang. It doesn't have four legs for starters. Just look at the mustang history, if you...
