Not sure that’s conclusive as I have a 2025 without a glass roof and my Escort works great. I also have a 2026 with a glass roof and it works. Toll tags work in both too.

There’s a lot going on up there! Ha!

I have found that video already. However, it doesn’t show how to get the cover off AND it’s for a 2022 vs my 2026. Unsure if the wiring is still the same.

I appreciate this post. Can you provide any guidance on removing the shroud / cover? That’s the part that has me scared. Requiring so much pressure and I’m afraid I’m going to break it. Where do you apply downward pressure? Where did you start?

1. What’s the best approach to get the shroud or cover off to access the wiring? 2. have a wiring diagram to know which pins provide key activated positive and a ground?
