whenever I have had an issue I have found both Ford and the dealership to be responsive. That said, they need to get more repair tecs trained and have parts available more quickly.
I’m one of those CR shoppers. I only ignored the CR advice once when buying a car and should have listened to them. The car (a VW) had exactly the problems identified by CR.
Actually, I would prefer a smaller EV for city and short trip driving. As the second car and for or longer trips, a mid-size PHEV would be ideal to avoid the need to charge.
With this combo, 95% or more of my driving would be electric and I wouldn’t need to deal with public chargers.

If last century technology gasoline vehicles paid there fair share then EVs would seem cheap. The cost of protecting oil supplies for them (think Iraq wars 1 and 2) about to subsidies of trillions of dollars. Gas should be taxed to pay for those wars.
Well, you allowed 1k depreciation/mo. It’s valued by the market as 23000 now, per your post, so 5 months means anything over 28,000 was you overpaying.
It does take more energy/carbon to build an EV. One starts earning that back on the drive home from the dealer. It takes the average EV 12-18 months to become carbon neutral, then it’s all savings. I bought into a solar farm, so my Mach e became carbon neutral more quickly.

I first became interested in EVs because I worked with veterans fighting in a seemingly endless war due to our need to protect oil supplies. Nobody has to fight a foreign war and die or have their life ruined to power my Mach e or my Volt.

my car is waiting for new battery replacement modules, not the hvbjb. no modules for repairs are available, they are all going to make new vehicles, and they have no idea when they will be. basically, Ford is delaying repair of sold vehicles so they can make new ones. They have already had my...
Well, I have owned 14 cars in my lifetime, including 3 other electrified vehicles. In
2 1/2 yrs my Mach e has spent more time in the repair shop than all the others combined. So, who is causing the problem? Ford for crappy design and planning or the lawyers holding them accountable?
Actually Ford engineers were involved from the start. The dealer realized it was not only a junction box problem within a few days. The long wait for the repair is that Ford has not prepared itself to repair Mach e’s when the crappy design fails.
They have lots of battery modules to build new...
