UK Pricing Lowered For RWD Extended Range Mach-E, Qualifying Some Configurations For Tax Credit

Such great news - and I'm pretty sure that the £3k grant is based on RRP per model type, not including options (eg paint / wheels etc). It's certainly the assumption Elon's website works on. This now means all current UK specifications except the AWD ER are now eligible - which I'm sure will...

Marketing company shows how it used Unreal Engine for MACH-E visualizer and presentation

I wonder if they used one of these as well.... I saw the Blackbird a couple of years ago and thought it was such a clever idea.

Thank you for kind comments and clarification. It's the problem of the written word - it's open to interpretation on the context in which it's written. Lets move on - and I have a question for you guys.... In this photo - what might these switches on the driver's sun visor be for? I'm not a...

Thanks for your kind words - in hindsight I know I'm overreacting. I'm not normally one of those people

Can I just reiterate something here.... it was me that started the whole glass roof being electrochroamatic. This was based on a conversation I had with a Ford representative at the London launch event, and not some dodgy ill informed dealership salesperson. I took what he said in good...

UK Tax Incentives to continue on EVs to 2022/23

Blimey - you're not fond of us over here are you! LOL We’re only hoping for a $200 reduction here in the UK (so not everyone in Europe) and that is small enough to be absorbed by a change in the £/$ exchange rates. It's a small ask - but it will mean the vehicle will cost what we all...

UK Tax Incentives to continue on EVs to 2022/23

So funny as I was checking out the Tesla site to see what they’d done as well. I had come to the same logical conclusion as you - fingers crossed eh!

UK Tax Incentives to continue on EVs to 2022/23

Yeah these Budget changes announced today suck big time if you wanted the bigger battery. Based on the vehicle tax laws old vs new...... For RWD & AWD Extended Range: Save £320 a year on Premium Car Road Tax, but loose £3,500 up front EV Grant discount. Over first 5 years of ownership you are...

So.... Good news: no showroom tax Bad news: grant reduced to £3,000 from £3,500 Bad news:: removed eligibility for vehicles over £50,000 (both the ER models in Mach-E Range) That makes me a sad panda 🐼

This has quite a big impact on pricing for the Extended range vehicles in UK. The gap between models is now £12k-£13k !!! I sincerely hope that Ford adjusts the price of the RWD ER model by a few £ to bring it back into the eligibility range for the £3k grant.

You're most welcome - Q1 - yes it definitely does include the pano roof Q2 - the seats are the same across the range (vegan leather) - the only difference is the stitching colour (black / red / blue) Q3 - this is a really good question! I don't know, but it will be my next quest :) Q4 - I've...

My primary concern was that while the website said one thing on the order confirmation, the "Compare models" section contradicted some of the info. This was further confused by vague wordings like "Only available with ER Model". The key word being "available" - did that mean as an extra...
