You do pay tax already on every kilowatt. It's just a regular sales tax and not specified for the roads. That tax should be eliminated before another tax is implimented.
This is non-sense. EV's pay a lot of tax on the electricity we buy. Use that tax money for the road funds. Oh yeah, the government keeps stealing the road money anyway..... Let's just have the government take my pay check and give me a little spending money... that is where we are headed...
I'm sure your right. I should also note in my confusion, I do hit the center button on the MME [with the 5 segmented lights] first, then I unplug the Tesla station first, then I remove the adaptor. Also worth noting, home charging I simply unplug from the MME and do NOT push any buttons...
When I use the Tesla adaptor [which is often], I always disconnect from the adaptor first, then pull out the adaptor from my MME. In 32,000 miles I have never had an issue with it.
Lets remember that ford information is for 30 days plus, not less then 30 days. My upcoming travels will keep me away for 21 days. I will leave it plugged in at 80% and do nothing else. It will sleep but will wake up upon physical re-entry.
My 2023 extended battery awd is rated at 4.2 seconds. I'm surprised that a 2022 takes longer.... Sounds to me that the 2025 [for same exact model] didn't change at least since the 2023. I do wish I had a softer ride, it's really my only complaint.
At 27,500 miles, I had a message in my app about the 12v battery. The car started fine in the morning but I took it to the dealer, and the battery test failed. They installed a new one and no more messages.
Pulling funding? The Biden administration had billions for it, then never did anything with it. It won't get any better with the new administration, but damn, I don't think it was any better before.....
My Job 2 2023 does this. Sometimes in the evening I will see [via Stargard] my 12v decrease to about 12.2v and 20 minutes later I will check, it is back up to about 12.8v
I'm not sure about all of you, but I already pay taxes on the electricity I use to charge my car...... I agree it is not a punishment, but just another theft by the government. How much of the "gas tax" per gallon actually makes it to road repair? I know in California the state keeps stealing...
