  1. Customer Satisfaction Program: 25B03 Certain 2024MY 12v battery full or partial drain

I've noticed that too on the weekends when I don't have departure times set up. I'd chalked it up to temperature differences from when charging terminates at approx 1 am to when I drive it after the sun is up a while. I've only had the car two months, and haven't gotten any software update...
  2. Possible "backup solution" for failed 12-volt battery??

How would you energize the solenoids? I'd keep one side hot through a fuse, and switch the ground(s). Also consider that keeping a solenoid energized 24/7 requires a higher spec than what you've linked, if your system needed one on the main battery too. I think all of this is more trouble than...
  3. Buyer Beware: The deal is Ford Power Promise OR a $1000 off the cost

I told Ford all about my experience when they sent me the surveys. I don't expect anything to change. People just have to remember that their biggest weapons when buying a car is your left and right foot. Just walk out. Shoutout to Koons Ford of Baltimore for selling me the car at the...
  4. Buyer Beware: The deal is Ford Power Promise OR a $1000 off the cost

I flew from Georgia to Maryland to buy my MME because of the games they play here. You came from Maryland to Georgia?!?
  5. Estimated Time to Charge no longer displayed in Ford Pass

It's very wrong when you first start charging. After that, it seems to give a plausible time to 80% but sometimes it will guess how long to 100% and that's a crapshoot for sure. Does anyone know why it would show 80 vs 100 when DCFC? My only charge target is 85% at home.
  6. Setting up daily charging times and preconditioning

Ford's goals are different than my goals. and remember to change it back next week when you get home so it doesn't sit for 3 days at 100% because you forgot. The power meter in the lower left of the speedometer display- reduced power limit is shown by small grey bars on the right of the scale...
  7. Setting up daily charging times and preconditioning

I set mine up almost identically, but you do need to set your wallbox to charge until after you leave. As I understand it, the car will only precondition the battery (useful in your climate) when plugged into the charger. Off charge, it will only condition the cabin and that's going to eat some...
  8. Ford Maverick and Bronco Sport 12V recall

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/ford-recalls-270000-bronco-sport-maverick-vehicles-battery-failure-iss-rcna188933 These vehicles were the base of the platform that the Mach E uses. They take a group 48 AGM battery, not the H3 that our cars use. I feel like the odds are good that the same...
