Thank you.
Unfortunately I don't have the necessary cable for that, but I guess now's as good a time to buy one as any.
I think I saw some messages here that explained that it's a configuration error after an update? Because there's a few symptoms that keep repeating around the lane centering...
Hi,
Could someone please pull WF0TK3SU3MMA19164 ?
Just had the HVBJB fix done, prior to which I lost the lane centering (no bubble) in some update. Was wondering what is the state of the car now and what was done during the recall, given the horrible state of updates on these early, early models.
It doesn't require you to take the suspension apart, and adjusting the spring perch ring is itself pretty simple even with the tools provided. The harder task is making sure the adjustments done are made with sufficient accuracy on all corners.

Other than the obvious...
The ride is lowered about 20mm, so slightly lower than the GT. I can't say that particular aspect changes things in regards to visibility. Obviously the body control is improved, and based on general physics (and some tests in other vehicles) the efficiency should also be slightly better.
And...
This was my problem with my AWD. It isn't anymore. I can't say anything about the GT suspension, but KW is one of the better manufacturers out there, so the option is there. And I'll update this thread as I adjust the car, see if I can report even better results.
While it's a sad fact that a lot of cars do get lifted up wrong, EVs aren't really the only kind that should be lifted properly. And luckily there are professionals who work on cars with values measured in trailer-loads of Mach-Es. But yes, always mind your lift points.
I think "bounciness" is...
1. It's lowered about 2 centimeters (25/20mm iirc) from AWD standard height, so about 10mm lower than GT now.
2. The defaults are about half way on the adjustments available for bump / rebound, so there should be considerable adjustment available. The V3s are by all intents "track-capable" at...
Hey,
Got them from KW through a local rep, item being:
KW COILOVER SUSPENSION V3 INOX
PART-NO.: 35230095
kwsuspensions.net
@Mach1E I think they'll pay for themselves through either the expense of buying another car, or all the seasickness patches I would need. Lemme know if you want to know...
For what it’s worth, I got the KW’s installed, and running them on defaults has helped with the pitching motion, a lot.
The problem with the car is ”over-suspended under-dampened”, meaning the car exhibits a firm posture with the slight increase of harshness, with the inability to control the...
Some early cars needed a windshield replacement due to the heater wiring quality issue, per instructions.
My service agent asked me the technical specs of the part when booking the work so they could order the part if needed. In my case it was.
The pano was simply prepping the metal parts and...
So turns out that wasn't correct. Received notification that the set arrived today.
You guys have any ideas for a separate post in terms of before/after content?
I assume the module update you refer to is 21P22, which is on the work orders for the windshield recall. The instructions are to update every module except ABS, gear change, and cameras.
But as for actually receiving updates from 1.7.1 onwards seems to be almost mythical in nature.
Hence my "sufficiently". I had the car charging on a 150kW charger when temps were around -29, and I don't think it ever made it above the low limit of 30kW. I can only feel lucky I paid by the kWh.
So whatever they did with the car, they missed their envelope in cooling AND heating. I think...
It isn’t just cooling that is problematic for MME. Any user where ambient temps go to below 5 Celsius can attest to really poor charging experience.
The car literally does not have the capability to heat up the pack sufficiently.
They’re not tho? You can pick up any modern car from 2015 and it’ll have equivalent amount of ”computers” as a Ford or VAG EV delivered today. The same convoluted mess of dozens of module controllers, strapped together with a messy bus-layout.
Like it or not, Tesla is the only one pushing the...
Are they, tho?
Seeing what Ford does with their EVs, and similar performance from VAG, I don't think they are.
They are just trying to jam the square peg into a round hole, since they have a warehouse full of square pegs. I haven't seen a single sign that they are actually doing new things.
If anything, Ford needs work on battery thermal management, in both hot AND cold weather.
Getting tired of using a 250kW capable charger and have my car pull less than 70kW at 30% after 10 minutes. This was today in 0 celsius weather after a highway drive.
