  1. Mach-E tops JD Power satisfaction index for mass market EVs

Agree, not surprised to see MME at the top......but no Tesla's?? Is there more to this story? Are they not considered "mass market"? Very strange....
  2. New Ford UEV Platfom Specs: 48V, Zonal Architecture, LFP Battery, Gigacasting & Much More [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Meh... I don't think it's an alpha factor. Sure, there's plenty of room for improvement, but I'm not sure it factors high on people's buy/don't buy criteria. I know it doesn't for me, but I also don't consider myself a typical consumer, so who knows.... you may be right..... But we can ALL...
  3. New Ford UEV Platfom Specs: 48V, Zonal Architecture, LFP Battery, Gigacasting & Much More [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Valid point. I think, for the masses, there are three main negatives to owning a BEV; initial cost, range, & public charging (cost/locations/complexity/etc..) With Ford's new EUV, they have (in theory..) addressed one of these issues. Will that be enough to sway multiple new (BEV) adopters...
  4. New Ford UEV Platfom Specs: 48V, Zonal Architecture, LFP Battery, Gigacasting & Much More [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

I don't think it will look anything remotely like that, given Ford's own description of it. I'm also skeptical, but at the same time, hoping to be pleasantly surprised. We shall see.... 🤠
  5. New Ford UEV Platfom Specs: 48V, Zonal Architecture, LFP Battery, Gigacasting & Much More [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

If this is an "accelerated" development, it's under the typical ~36 month cycle, so everything is compressed. Plus more & more testing is being done virtually, which further reduces the number of physical prototypes. Final design prototypes are outrageously expensive, so there will likely not be...
  6. New Ford UEV Platfom Specs: 48V, Zonal Architecture, LFP Battery, Gigacasting & Much More [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

The early prototypes are Frankenstein's using MP vehicles with parts & components from the development. It will be a while before we see final production body design prototypes running around in heavy camo.
  7. New Ford UEV Platfom Specs: 48V, Zonal Architecture, LFP Battery, Gigacasting & Much More [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

If it lives up to the hype, and has similar truck capabilities as my Maverick, I will be first in line. 🤠
  8. LEASE-

In order of importance: 1) At the time of my lease inception, Ford had inflated residual values to incentivise the MME lease programs. 2) It is advantageous for my personal financial situation to maintain an active lease. 3) I like to have the latest available BEV related tech, and after 3...
  9. LEASE-

    Nope.
  10. ADRIATIC BLUE Mach-E Photos

That looks pretty good! Need to ditch those gawd-awful truck wheels tho.... 🤮
  11. ADRIATIC BLUE Mach-E Photos

Yeah, it just kind of sits on the computer screen like a pile of bad mold. Guessing it will look pretty sharp in person, on an actual car. 😘
  12. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

Unburdened by what has been..... 😂
  13. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

But is it? You'll notice not AI Brian says "will be coming..." to 2025 models. No mention of when. And besides, there are FAR more of us interested in when/if/how it will apply to our pre-'25 models. Ford's PR game needs a little tune up... 🤡
  14. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

Seems like kind of a backwards announcement....lots of details on how the new toy works, very few on how/when/where to get it.... you know, the stuff people really wanna know. 🤪 If you truly don't know the basics, probably should delay the announcement, jus' sayin'... Under promise, over...
  15. EV crate motor in a classic Mustang

Really cool project! I wish they would have provided more tech data, like finished weight & balance, some performance figures for on road & charging specs, and of course cost. Even tho it's not something I would want, I appreciate the engineering, and creativity. 🤠
  16. 25 EVs Were Range-Tested In Extreme Cold. It Didn’t Go Well

Seems like, from my experience, the MME is also in that ~40% category, at sub-zero temps. Not great. Our ICE vehicles are more like ~20%. I didn't find the article to be anti-EV at all, just to the point & factual. It's a well known fact EV's suffer more range reduction from extreme cold than...
  17. Doubled My Battery Energy (by simply warming up battery)

Not sure about that... I would guess the opposite might be true, but it's likely fractional. The biggest issue with lower amp charging is, it won't warm the battery if you are below 28A, if I understand correctly. I charge at 16A, but I'm also in a heated garage, so not a huge concern for me.
  18. Range…..it’s not just us

Right? We had a '22 prior to the MME, had to be really stupid to get in the low 20's. No idea what this chucklehead is doing....
  19. 2021 Premium AWD: calipers and rotors

If you are unable to verify yourself, go to a reputable independent repair shop, and forget these ripoff chain stores. They are almost as bad as the shady dealers.
