  1. OTA 10.2.0 / 24B42 received for 2021 Job 1 EA

This queued up for me last Thursday and finally finished downloading and installing yesterday afternoon. 1PD braking might be a little smoother when initially starting to slow and when coming to a full stop. Or it might just be in my head with the suggestion that it changed. I don’t fast charge...
  2. ECG-25.2.5.7.1 Update - Consistent Battery (LVB) Performance - to prevent 12V battery drain

I just got 10.1.0 today after getting 25.2.5.7.1 on 3/19, preceded by a long drought. 25.2.5.7.1 seems to have fixed whatever issue was pausing the rollout of 10.1.0 and 10.1.1. Edit: and I just got 10.1.1 this morning, 4/2.
  3. ECG-25.2.5.7.1 Update - Consistent Battery (LVB) Performance - to prevent 12V battery drain

It refines it to prevent drainage. It’s all right there in the Update Details, what more could you possibly want to know?
  4. ECG-25.2.5.7.1 Update - Consistent Battery (LVB) Performance - to prevent 12V battery drain

This came through yesterday for me. I still haven’t gotten 10.1.0 or 10.1.1, so hopefully those are unblocked now that my 12V is behaving better. ?
  5. How To: Get speedometer back in the middle of instrument cluster display (requires FORScan)

Thanks everyone for figuring this out! It’s silly, but it’s nice to have the centered speedo and animations back. Everything is working on my 21 Job 1 the same as @Gullwingdmc ’s video shows. Lane keeping and BlueCruise work the same as before, only the car/bubble/lane display is disabled when...
  6. OTA ECG-24-2.5.6.3 (Gateway Module)

Or even: “with a subsequent sever-side change, this update will enable additional climate control options.” It’s frustrating because they seemed to have been making progress on the release note front. I like the idea of EA and think it could serve to make everyone’s experience better if Ford...
  7. 3D Printed MagSafe (Qi2) Charging Mat [Updated w/ Print Files]

Even fresh out of the sealed bag? I’ll borrow a dryer from work, I guess.
  8. 3D Printed MagSafe (Qi2) Charging Mat [Updated w/ Print Files]

Okay, I’ve got the base about halfway done using a fresh roll of black Bambu ASA on my office X1E. If anyone else attempts this in the future, I was having bed-adhesion issues with the Bambu brand ASA filament and profile until I pre-treated it with a glue stick. Ironically some old Zortrax ASA...
  9. OTA ECG-24-2.5.6.3 (Gateway Module)

In EA, just got this, and it seemed to enable the new, more advanced remote climate control options. It would have been great to read that in the release notes, but they were back to the hopelessly vague drivel we used to get.
  10. 3D Printed MagSafe (Qi2) Charging Mat [Updated w/ Print Files]

Thanks! I’ll give it a shot next week once the filament shows up.
  11. 3D Printed MagSafe (Qi2) Charging Mat [Updated w/ Print Files]

Thanks, but even when perfectly aligned my iPhone 15 Pro (in a case) charges slower than it discharges on the stock charging pad. It works slightly better when I remove the case, but the MagSafe charging enabled by this print is preferable for my purposes.
  12. 3D Printed MagSafe (Qi2) Charging Mat [Updated w/ Print Files]

Bambu is taking a while to get the Black ASA and TPU that I ordered shipped, but I got impatient and decided to print a prototype with some materials I had laying around. I printed from the individual .stl files and it looks like the barb/grommet holes in the top side of the main plate...
  13. 3D Printed MagSafe (Qi2) Charging Mat [Updated w/ Print Files]

Unfortunately, no. The A1 bed temperature doesn’t get hot enough, as far as I know.
  14. 3D Printed MagSafe (Qi2) Charging Mat [Updated w/ Print Files]

Thanks for sharing your design! I’m going to try doing the main piece in ASA for temperature and UV resilience and see how it turns out. Since you mentioned you’ve got an A1 and are using the AMS compatible TPU, I’m assuming you’ve got an AMS lite? I just printed one of these for dry storage...
  15. Update Install History

It buys them some more time until Soon™. Also when you don’t have a real/good/satisfying answer to share, it makes the customer get off the computer/phone and go do something else. Maybe it’ll work? Maybe they’ll forget? The customer was given an action and now… not my problem.
  16. Update Install History

Gosh, what if we’d all just forgotten to turn automatic updates on this whole time?! ?
  17. The Complete DIY Guide to Updating Your Mach-E with FDRS

Following up on the power-meter/jail-bar issue in case it helps anyone else out: I flipped the IPC 720-11-02 value back to all zeros (my original setting, without the power meter) and it turned off as expected. I then set it back to 0200 (the modified value which previously enabled the meter)...
  18. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Thanks, @Mike G ! I took it in for the HVBJB work in June, right as the big ransomware attack hit a bunch of dealers. As a result they “finished” the swap but couldn’t file the work report with Ford. So Ford, not knowing what was done, has kept bugging me to get it completed for months. I...
  19. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Can someone look up 3FMTK3SU4MMA26818? I recently had my HVBJB work done and am curious what they did and didn’t update. Thanks!
