I didn't want to but trying it now. I just hate having to set up my CarPlay Home Screen all the time. Crazy Apple doesn't back that up.

I have not had any issues with CarPlay on 4.1.2/3. It does seem like they made it more reliable. I was reseting Sync about every other time I drove before..

Or insurance companies...sounds expensive to replace :P

I am just going to assume they snuck it in there to do some testing before it goes "live". Now they will have data to see how much it actually helps, even they need to increase range, etc. That'd be the smart thing to do...or maybe actually have a beta test for EA users so we can also give...

Can confirm it does NOT work with CarPlay routing, which I expected. Only noticed it kick on with Ford Nav.

Might be working.. 26F out. 1:24 - 52F 1:44 - 54F 1:56 - 59F - rolling into Electrify America charger.

Well I have 4.1.2 and have a 200 mile trip tomorrow in 25 degrees. We’ll see. I never use Ford Nav but I guess I will tomorrow! What temp should the battery be and how can I track it? What’s the best app? I have the OBDLink MX.

Looks much better this way. They just need to add back the info to the small cards. Simplifying the UI is for the best. Easier for manage code and could even be better for performance. One less thing to have to keep loaded in the background!

Yup, I’m seeing this same issue, happens right when I leave my house. Started with 4.1.2. I updated my iPhone to 16.3 RC, will see if that helps at all.

No they totally changed it. I’ve had it since early Dec and my range always shows more now. This is likely due to all the complaints they get about range but I think it makes more sense. As you drive it will update depending on your driving style, slowly. I’m always over 200 miles on my ER at...
