If it's not plugged in prior to driving, the only way to get rid of them is to plug a route to an EV charger in the Ford nav. If you're close enough to one, it will precondition your battery and the jail bars will reduce.

I called the NHTSA and they had no interest in discussing my issue, claiming that Ford had a recall in place for the problem I was describing. They were not capable of understanding how I could have already had the part that is Ford’s solution to the recall fail.

Received an email from Ford today that I have an open service action. When the HVBJB recall was announced, my car was listed in the recall through VIN search - GTPE that had already received the new version of the HVBJB twice. As of today, I no longer have the recall listed for my car. I assume...

For anyone monitoring timelines, I dropped the car off the night of Oct. 10 after business hours and the car was repaired as of today (Oct 17) with a remanufactured part. Let's hope I get more than 8,000 miles before this thing fails again.

Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 PLUS are incredible in all weather; you have to go with this exact model though and not the older one which is inferior. These actually even give me less wheel spin on dry pavement than stock pirelli summer tires on my GTPE.
