Long rant, short question - I stopped at a ChargePoint/Georgia Power site. Not in the middle of nowhere but just down the road from there. It was right off of the interstate so convenient. Convenience store and bbq close by. One DCFC and at least 8 Tesla chargers, I don't think SCs. No one else...
I am scheduled to drop off at Gwinnett Place on 4/11. They estimate 4 days since it will be re-sealing the glass roof and the windshield. Fingers crossed.
Sorry, I replied before reading your whole post. Check settings to make sure you are not telling it to avoid certain conditions. Mine always avoids the 4 lane road by a hospital in favor of a 2 lane road. I suspect forced programming but no proof.
I booked a regular service appt in December at MOG but they called back and said MOG body shop had to do glass. Body shop said they didn't have directions from Ford on how to do it yet. My name was 'added to list' but no call back yet. Same as you, I am wondering if any dealership has done it.
Just the roof but it offers the highest thermal protection. I had the windshield and side windows done back in February. List price for just the roof was $600 but they knocked off $100 for the repeat business.
I did get the pano roof tinted. Prior to, the glass was a little too bright and warm. I had them add 35% tint and 97% blocking, if that makes sense. Rear seat passengers appreciate it. Cost was $500.
I just had to eat my words. I took a job in Midtown and saw $9.96 fee to use I-85 HOT lane so I dropped my Prestige plate for an AFV plate. So much for teaching the man a lesson. It cost me $60 on the spot. Still not sure about annual renewal fee. I will find out after the first of the year.
My MME rolled off the line on 1/8 and I drove it home to Duluth on 2/5. So many factors at play but I didn't rely on dealer for updates. Stalk it if you want.
Just dropped Venom off for this update. The service department said there 10 'updates' so all day. I had problems with PaaK until the app update earlier this week. I will see if performance stays good after this service visit.
Not an option for some but I am on Ga Power's Time of Use PEV plan, with ChargePoint in the garage, it is costing me about $3 every 5-7 days to charge at home. I just passed 4,000 miles so not much on the road charging. 11pm - 7am costs $0.01 per kWh. Worth it if you can.
When I got my MME, I quickly went to the company I use for tinting, they matched the front side windows to the back and talked me into putting clear 'tint' inside the front windshield. I am considering the same for the roof if the Georgia sun is too much, I would not recommend the windshield...
Just me venting to the PeachPass officials - I have had a Personalized plate for over 20 years and a PeachPass since that program began. I called and they said I would have to get that EV plate so NO deal. They also do not have the MME as a choice of auto. DISAPPOINTING. I am keeping my...
We are debating the same here just north of Atlanta. I am dying to road trip to Savannah or to visit family in Florida. We also have a new hybrid and older ICE SUV. I think the key is planning before the trip and not getting there on empty. I am scoping out both DC and AC chargers along the way...
I'm in Duluth on GaPower with ChargePoint plugged in at 50amps circuit. GaPower switched us to the SuperSaver rate from 11pm - 7am so it costs me about $3.43 every 5 days. It all depends on your use but the ChargePoint app is nice at showing appropriate costs. I think all electric utilities have...
Also read as many comments as you can stand on this forum because there are so many factors like age of home, ease of access to breaker box, wifi signal. wiring type. I don't have a recommendation because I did my own but don't unless you are very comfortable with your ability to finish it. If...
