In the last couple hours my delivery window was pushed out another month. What pisses me off most is these Texas cars went right past many of our dealerships on the way to Kansas City area. Literally 1 mile from my dealer, like the opposite side of IH35. They could hold cars for Texas a few...
9/12 build week. Built 9/14. Just checked Ford.com reservations / orders. Delivery window is now 12/19 to 12/25 originally 10/11-10/16. Then 11/14-11/21. Merry Christmas to me.
11/16 status: Grabber Blue GT PE still on ramp 6R since 9/27. 9/12 build week. Built 9/14. Went within one mile of the dealership in South Texas on the way to Richard’s-Gebauer Missouri from the Lecheria Mexico plant. Waiting on the 900 mile return trip back to Texas. “Current delivery window”...
11/14 status: Grabber Blue GT PE still on ramp 6R since 9/27. Built 9/14. Went within one mile of the dealership in South Texas on the way to Richard’s-Gebauer Missouri from the Lecheria Mexico plant. Waiting on the 900 mile return trip back to Texas. “Current delivery window” begins tomorrow...
11/10 status: Grabber Blue GT PE still on ramp 6R since 9/27. Built 9/14. Went within one mile of the dealership in South Texas on the way to Richard’s-Gebauer Missouri from the Lecheria Mexico plant. Waiting on the 900 mile return trip back to Texas.
I’m a Grabber Blue GT PE still on ramp 6R also. Since 9/27. Built 9/14. Went within one mile of my dealer in South Texas on the way to Richard’s-Gebauer Missouri.
Talked to my dealership GM today. He said Ford is terminating many of their dealer Reps. (That’s what I was told) The current Ford dealer rep handles over 100 dealerships and is unable to respond to inquiries or provide guidance. This said, while on the phone with me the GM found VinView but...
I’ve never turned propulsion sound on on in my Platinum. Just like I’ve never use the vibrating seats or retractable running boards. I’m still waiting for the Ford invitation for me to bring the truck in to have those deleted items added back on along with a platinum tailgate. I’ll get over...
Same here. Bought dumb with correct plug configuration to fit 50 amp welder receptacle. I can take the charger with me and use if I need at many “shop” locations around the country. It’s not the same configuration as the RV 50 amp so I’ve got options. I like the construction and wanted to be...
But, others in the same 9/12 build week are getting deliveries. Texas vehicles could have been staged on the same rail car leaving the Lecheria factory and dropped somewhere along the 600 miles of tracks in Texas between the Rio Grande and Red River. A 2nd grader with a Lionel train set and...
My Texas bound GT PE was built 9/14 and arrived in Missouri 9/27. A month ago. Now sitting 800 miles from the dealer which BTW is 1 mile off the rail line from Lecheria Mexico going thru Texas to the old Mo airport Ramp 6. Literally a former airport ramp / Tarmac.
What puzzles me is Ford’s...
The plans are the same. Apples to apples. Provided by Ford. Just make sure you compare the same terms. Plan level, length, deductible…. Those are the main components. There are some add ons. Keys. Rental car. First day rental. Tires. Dents. Windshields. Interior / exterior lights...
I got a Granger quote. GT PE. $100 deductible. 96 months 100k miles. Premium care plus interior and exterior lights, key service. Less than $1100.
Triple care (tires/dents/windshield) $495
if you have your VIN your insurance company will even give you their quote.
I’m still in logistics hell Missouri ramp 6. Literally an old airport ramp. I used Ford chat earlier today and was given a Kansas City Southern rail car number. Called KCS and as I was talking to the agent I remembered others here mentioned KCS was the line utilized between Lecheria Mexico...
GT PE is also sitting in a lot there in Mo., 800 miles away. For 3 weeks, after having been within 20 miles of me on its way thru Texas from Mexico. I received an email yesterday moving delivery out a month. 11/15-11/22. As long as we get the car by 12/31!
Look around at different chargers. They have multiple nema plug configurations that don’t require an adapter. Just search using “nema 14-30r electric vehicle charger”. As mentioned previously, you will only get 24 amps max out of that arrangement.
I have an inbound Mach E GT PE arriving around 10/11. In preparation for game day I stopped by the dealership to get a “buyers order”. It’s called by different names, purchase order, buyers order…. Basically it’s just like an invoice, line by line shows what the vehicle cost, ordered adds...
