If the problem was the HV battery, the dealer would swap the whole battery and send the failed one back to Ford. Car dealers don't have the training or equipment to replace modules or single cells. Besides the repaired battery must pass a certification test to be reused.
There was "Knight Rider" with a Mustang KR model as KITT. The voice of KITT was Val Kilmer ( who played "Batman " once).

I belive that all cars should have a mecanical means to open their doors, even a hidden pull cable is good enough, somewhat like the special handle in trunks.
Although Ford only has an 8 year battery warranty , it will last longer before it may begin to fail or weaken. My 2014 Fusion Hybrid was assembled in September 2013, and its battery must be assembled before that. It now has 8 years after assembly yet it works as good as when it was new. And a...
I only have a Fusion Hybrid but I can unlock the car on the door pad and open the trunk in four seconds or less. I doubt anyone can pull their smartphone out, power it on, unlock the screen, open the app, find the menu option, and press it in lesser time. In fact I can lock or unlock the car...
Unless you are lucky, most Lyriq orders will be delivered later, probably in 2023. I could not place my reservation because the website rejected my Zip Code and found no dealers in Puerto Rico, so I will wait for the 2024 MY.

The present Mach-E cannot run with LFP cells. You cannot even refurbish it!
You missed one Pro : No heating up during charging
And one Con: Terrible in cold conditions
So the next generation of Mach-E may have to continue using older cell chemistry for buyers in the northen states, or they move south to use LFP cells.

The Feds are not "paying" anyone $7,500 to buy an electric car. That is a tax rebate and most of us don't pay that much tax. I don't pay at all so I don't get any "payment". It is easier to raise gas taxes so buyers will search for hybrids and electrics on their own.
