I receive my EAP email survey about 12 hours before the updates install. It’s how I know I’ve got one on the way.
And I can happily report that after this update my Telematics totally rock. Like, supercharged. Finally! This was high on the Super Poll.
If there was, I didn’t get the email. The last one I got about a week ago did not pertain to a SYNC update.
Since this is SYNC, I’m gonna assume I’m finally getting my trunk access button pinned to the Home Screen top ribbon. Five years…
It’s gonna look very much like a Rivian R1T. Not sure what the mystery or intrigue is here. I guess there’s a market for a “mid-sized” toy city truck. I’m sure Ford oughta know. It just isn’t me.
Sounds like the dealer did you a favor by doing two doors for free. You already acknowledged you’re out of warranty. As long as the dealers partial work didn’t leave you worse off, what do you think you’re entitled to?
Or, frankly, for any lengthy road trip when you don’t want to spend a lot of time DC “Fast” Charging. And that’s what I have to do a couple times a year. But this just isn’t something most Americans want to hassle with.
This is not all that dissimilar from the “why can’t America have a better...
Agree on the Midwest. I share this experience. Ain’t no way this thing is doing anything close to 400mi range on the highway. But even 300 miles of true highway range at 75mph, plus the faster charging, would be a nice improvement.
There are three ways to open the trunk that I know of:
Press the physical button on the liftgate.
Tap into settings on the infotainment screen and hunt for the little trunk button nested within the drive modes.
Pull my phone out of my pocket, open the Ford app, tap into “remote controls” and...
“Accessibility” is the same excuse @Ford Motor Company provided for why the Home Screen can’t be fixed as one size (and therefore scrolls) in the first place. But it results in a crappier app experience.
It shouldn’t scroll at all. Ford puts WAY too much info on the home page and it’s 75% useless. Quite annoying when fumbling with phone trying to tap a button on the move and the damn screen keeps moving. Completely unnecessary, bad design, @Ford Motor Company just don’t care.
I’m a big fan of early, massive depreciation. Because I’ll be buying my next EV off a short lease. It’s the only reason I would even consider a BMW or Caddy.
I don’t see beaver teeth. I see pig nostrils. The grill is a very noticeable and very unfortunate blemish against what appears to be an otherwise pretty good option.
The bigger battery coupled with faster charging would make a significant difference on road trips. Additional range may eliminate...
Yup. It’s the “we want you back” pricing strategy. Back in my DirecTV days I didn’t get a good price until i had already initiated the cancellation and received the cardboard boxes to mail back my equipment. Had to go through the process every year or so. Finally just went to streaming - all I...
