No issues. Car is beyond compare. The squeaky wheel gets the kick, as they say. ;)
Joking aside, I expected some issues as an early adopter. I'm one of those who gets early access games to actually help find and fix bugs because it's fun. Worst I've had is sync taking an extra 5 seconds or so...
I know this is debated, but personally I *LIKE* that Ford isn't playing the same game the other EV mfrs are. Sure, it makes direct-on-paper comparisons more difficult (and less favorable for Ford, btw), but if the choices are "You might get this range downhill with a tailwind" and "This is...
In my edit, I almost mentioned not having auto on, but removed that because I thought it might be TOO obvious. (Since yes, it absolutely turns auto off when you muck about with the fan speed)
Turn off eheat and ac. Select which vent/s you want to use. Close that screen. Set your fan speed. That's it, shouldn't take the temp setting into account anymore, you have set it all manually. :) (Edit: manual fan speed controls are next to the heated wheel button)
OOH! I know some of this at least! If you hit the defrost/snowflake button just to the right of the volume knob you get manual control of heat/ac/neither, recirc/fresh, vent/legs/both, and some nifty graphics.
EDIT(There have been a few, but now I think the above makes sense):: ALSO - Is there...
Clipper Creek. They literally let the employees try to break the unit with a baseball bat. I've never heard anything bad about them. We've had ours on the outside of our garage for about a year, used regularly with our last EV (Chevy Bolt). The MME sees it as something like "Basic AC Charging"...
Mustang Mach-E. When anyone asks me, every time, without fail. I LOVE that it's a Mustang. I previously owned a 2003 Mustang GT, and this car is faster, more fun, has more room, and looks just as good or better in my opinion. Just today, picking up lunch, I got asked about it a couple of times...
This. Just give it time. They would be really stupid not to take advantage of having all the hardware there, but I get that there are other/higher priorities at the moment.
So am I the only one that gets prompted "Do you want to turn off motion sensors?" when exiting the car? To be clear, I know it's not fully Sentry Mode, but a lot of the pieces are already in place.
Fossil Mustangs are all RWD. AWD on the E-pony makes sense...and trust me, I can break the ass loose just as well as in my (previous) 2003 Mustang GT...and control the slide WAY more easily. Any time you want out, just let off the pedal a tiny bit in 1pedal drive mode.
Somehow I missed that before, but that does make sense as far as expired tokens...I actually might know someone to ask about some of the underlying technology (ie if there is a standard time between token rolls), but someone at Ford would probably have to answer (even approximately? Please...
I mean...short of parking the car inside a farady cage...I suppose I could drive around for a while with everything turned off...but once those connections are off it's not like they have some network left in them like a garden hose. :p
I'm guessing you encountered a software/firmware issue...
The key part of that was that, while my wifi was "on", it was not connected to any networks. On the off chance some backend bits in the Fordpass app utilized the 5GHz for some portion of the PaaK's authentication process. Turns out, the 5GHz is just part of the wireless Android Auto...
Someone (somewhere? another thread?) mentioned wanting pictures of not-out-of-spec panel gaps. I just quickly took my digital calipers around the Mach-E and found that the gaps I measured (frontdoors/fender, windshield/roof, rear-hatch/fender) were all 5mm +/- ~.5mm.
Once my wife and I are done...
