The tones play differently like that if the sound module doesn't start up fast enough, the car will instead play the sounds through the instrument cluster. This happens on all Ford vehicles and it does it to make sure it's always able to play the tones in some way.
You just have to search for them manually or use the old fashioned POI search. And it will only work for whatever chargers your car knew about when your subscription expired. The updates will not happen if you don't subscribe.

I see you're possibly stopping in Commerce OK for the Dairy King. If you go through Miami to get back to the highway you can stop by the only remaining Ku-Ku burger that wouldn't add hardly any time to your route. It usually gets a lot of people stopping for Rt66 stuff...
Sync updates have been put on hold for reasons unknown for some models. Hopefully we might be close to the end of that hold. Recent discussion linked below.

I upgraded from a First Edition to a GT, and I think it was worth it.
I will say I only did it because I was able to trade in the FE in a time when used car values were very inflated and was able to do it with almost no extra cost, plus a 2nd tax credit.
I will just say this, every time I've had the Ford ESP, it paid for itself every time. If you are considering an extended warranty, the Ford one is the only one I'd recommend as it is so seamless to use. And you can transfer it if you sell the car before it's expired.

Those are possibly the only two servers that the cars in China can hit with China blocking a lot of foreign connections.
The cars use different software over there but potentially still send some info back Ford HQ. And potentially they leave them in for all cars just in Case for redundancy...
As a 2021 owner, We got updated to 1.3 which is the features he's not able to turn on.
If the update didn't complete the field will not be present at all as it gets added with the IPMA update. But some cars didn't get the proper value set.

You likely are missing the update that added those features to BC, but got the sync update that shows the options. They don't work if the actual blue cruise update didn't install fully. There was a batch of OTAs that updated the module but didn't configure it properly. If it's just the config...
