Awesome article. I have owned my GT for over 4 years now. Not a single repair was needed. No brake pads replaced, and the Continental tires are the original and still in good shape. The only replacement was the cabin air filter at 20K miles, which Iām getting ready to replace again at 41K. Still...
I had the same happen to me on the last storm. My car skidded and plowed into ice and the lower grill + the radar got damaged, and the left side fender got a small scratch. The body shop charged $4.500+ for the repair.
I am appalled at the callousness with which Ford left this couple stranded in the middle of the night. God knows what perils they may have been exposed to. Shame on you Ford!
All i can tell you in the summer I get between 310 to 320 miles of charge and in winter 250 to 260. This has been consistent throughout 4 years. What will it be in the future? I may regret itā¦.
I wander what all the beef is about charging to 100%. I have my GT for four years now and always charge to 100% and I havenāt noticed any reduction on the mileage on the battery thus far. I just plug it in and let it rip!!
Whoās gonna drive the new chariot the most. You already know the answer in your gut if it is you: GT. If itās your wife, she can care the least about the gut wrenching acceleration, save the money: Premium.
Have you tried asking another dealership in your area? They may have seen this before and may have a solution for you. It's worth the phone call. I would call several dealerships to see what they have to say.
I charge L-1 at home and L-2 at my second home. I developed the habit at home, to plug in my car to charge everytime I return from an errand and have not noticed any degradation. For the most part it always charges to 100%. If I had to charge it L-1 from almost nothing to 100% it may take up to...
Even though I don't drive around much daily anymore range and acceleration were most important to me. Every now and then I take a trip, and then range is king!
No room treatments. I went through a lot of components (solid state and tubes), speakers, cables, modifications, etc. over the years to get to the sound that satisfied me best.
My preferences are classical music, jazz, rock, tango in that order. I prefer vinyl records over digital music for...
Make it a GT. I have a ā21 with 36K miles and still drives like new. AWD and long range driving are reassuring, plus the fact thatās a rocket on wheels when you need it. Drives great on curvy roads.
