If it makes you feel better, I was one of those 2023s as well until 2 days ago when the “this will help you receive future OTA updates” update installed on its own with no gimmicks. I think they just had us in a holding pattern and are starting to unlock future updates!

Call me in the minority, but if they just pushed the charge speed bonus and didn’t touch anything else via OTA I’d be a very happy Ford MME owner. It would be an appreciated quality of life upgrade for roadtrips and help future proof the car (somewhat) imo.

If this is an easy process, I'd love to see if there is anything pending on my 2023. It got a few updates, then stalled for a month after the Tesla update while everyone else seemed to continue getting additionals. I'm sure its fine and they'll kick in but the curious side of me wouldn't mind...
