I have a 130 mile round trip to my inlaw's that's a very consistent highway commute that I drive at 70mph. I was able to take it yesterday for the first time in our '25 GT with base wheels to see how the efficiency compared to both our '21 GT and our '22 premium ext awd.
Weather yesterday was...
Does anyone have a 2025 GT wheel that has taken off the cover to see what the base wheel looks like? I appreciate the aero capabilities of this new wheel cover but wondering if there's a hidden gem underneath?
last month I got the itch for something different and traded my '21 GT for a '25 i4 M50. I'll keep it short and sweet with the main criteria I used to judge the two against each other.
Size:
Winner - Mach-e. The i4 is about the same length and width as the MME but it feels much shorter in...
The A/C is starting to stink...in the past I've bought cans of foaming cleaner that you spray up the drain tube and into the evap coils to eliminate the mold....has anyone done that yet and can speak to if it's worked? Other suggestions?
Didn't think I'd be here, but my IPMA issues are now going in for third repair attempt. I believe in my state there is a requirement for 4 attempts so I may not yet be there.
However, for those who did the buyback process, did you find that Ford stuck to the book with respect to meeting...
Good, educational video. I wasn't aware they'd developed a process where the whole pack can go in. I figured it would require teardowns and be labor intensive.
Thread title is my interpretation. Don't yell at me if you don't agree, I'm just following the instructions.
Edit: to clarify - this isn't about assembly location, it's about the IRS qualifying 2023's purchased from 8/16 - 12/31 and it at least appears there's more going into that than just...
The past couple of days I've been getting a seat belt monitoring fault. It's ranged from the rear seats to the driver's seat so I'm guessing there's a module that has a problem....anyone else had this come up yet?
Annoyingly when the driver's fault comes up it will disengage cruise control.
This is a new one for me. Over 10k miles and this is the first time I've been power limited with the grey bars after pulling off the home charger, charging to 90%. It's 70 degrees out and I have no errors. Ideas?
This is not my video but I find it exceptionally helpful and accurate and believe this could benefit many who are looking to install a 14-50, or for those that may have made some mistakes of their own.
Doing my taxes with turbo tax, I have a tax liability over 30k. I added vehicle (7500) and EVSE (~480 credit) and then added in Solar (~6000 credit). As soon as I added in solar, the EVSE credit showed 0 instead of the prior amount. I'm still nowhere near my tax liability....anyone know why...
The man in this case being me. Never get complacent with a ladder! Especially when you didn't think to move your car first. Stepped up on the top rung of the ladder in front of the car in A frame configuration. I lost balance and came down with the ladder hitting the hood and I landed on my...
I've never been able to get unbridled extend to work. Not sure if it's temperature dependent but in warmer days, cooler days, before I drive, after I drive...doesn't matter it's always either dithered or it goes dithered as soon as I try to turn it on. Anyone gotten it to work or is it...
Anyone else having the issue with phone calls when AA is connected defaulting to the device instead of to bluetooth? I have to accept the call and then manually select bluetooth to get a call to go through. I'm assuming it has to do with bluetooth connection timing vs AA connection timing...
I'm not well versed in Lead Acid/AGM batteries. I bought a Noco Genius1 charger/maintainer as I saw voltage was low in my M40i (11.4). It charged overnight and was full by morning.
I was showing a healthy voltage on the GT at 12.8 but I figured I'd throw the Noco at it since I've seen several...

What are you all seeing as costs?
I have esurance and threw in my car with the same coverages on my m40i and my premium went up 156 every 6 months.
