  1. Retail orders stopping Feb 11th

That's absolutely not true in most cases. I can find 4 Kia dealerships within 50 miles of my house that are selling at MSRP. Even a few that are advertising a 10k markup but will quickly haggle down to MSRP if you're a serious buyer. Unlike Ford, they actually have cars on the lots as well...
  2. Retail orders stopping Feb 11th

I'm about 90% sure at this point that I'm getting an EV6 come October....but I'm a little more tempted to hold on to my Premium ER AWD order now for a while longer just in case. Would be great if I could actually find one to test drive at some point to help me decide for sure. Ordered on Feb 9th.
  3. Solved! No PaaK support for S22Ultra yet

If you preorder from Samsung you usually get them delivered a day or two early.
  4. So I picked up an Ioniq 5

Cyber grey is common amongst the SE/SEL's...but when I check the incoming LImited's, I was only able to find 1 cyber grey Limited within a 500 mile radius of LA. There are 27 Limited's in transit to the SoCal area. 15 of those 27 are shooting star matte. The second highest is Digital Teal...
  5. First Mach-E in Iced Blue Silver Metallic

I really wish there was still a regular silver or grey. The dark matter is too dark to really show the contrast with the black roof... space white is.. well it has a blue tint in a lot of lighting situations..and now this, while a decent color..also has a blue tint.
  6. Ford projected to reach 200,000 EVs sold in 3rd quarter 2022

I'm curious how much the delays and chip shortages are affecting this timeline. Have sales been slowed enough that it would push them into Q4 before they hit 200k? It looks like they were projected to end Q2 just short of 200k so Q3 seems pretty much a given but hard to say with the slowdown...
  7. So I picked up an Ioniq 5

I've seen one so far at an EA station in Ontario. Side note... why are their no Cyber Grey Limiteds out there? Seems like 90% of them are Shooting Star.
  8. EV6 Vs MME

Did you even read what I wrote? lol Range is just an added bonus, I'm not upgrading for more range. I ordered a Premium ER/AWD. Not interessted in the CA route 1 because I don't like the rims and I really prefer the white interior. That said, I'm probably going to end up with the AWD GT-Line...
  9. EV6 Vs MME

The efficiency or range have nothing to do with why I'm looking to upgrade from the ID.4. It's just a boring car to be honest. Nothing wrong with it per se... Although, if I'm going to actually upgrade to something, I would like it to have more range. I probably get around 225 on a full...
  10. Talk me off the ledge

Our other car is a 2022 Genesis G70 and I love the HUD on that. I would assume its the same part in the EV6 and from all the video I've seen its set up the same way. Its not a deal breaker if it sucks though, you can just turn it off. Its also not something that would really push me in one...
  11. EV6 Vs MME

Man I'd love to get 3+ mi/kWh! I probably average 2.5-2.9 most of the time in my ID.4. It's a RWD, Pro-S with gradient package (20 inch rims). I'm in SoCal so it's been like.. between 30-65 most days. Most of my driving is either with the cruise set at 67, 73, or 77 depending on which road...
  12. EV6 Vs MME

This isn't the guy or place where they usually do their test. They kept pulling over to switch drivers, the first driver was going over 70 for a while, it was windy, different elevations than the tests they normally run.. and they had an extra 200+ lb passenger. Its a good frame of reference...
  13. Talk me off the ledge

Also the HUD and the blind spot cameras. Throw blue cruise hands free into the mach-e category. Yes, I've been weighing the benefits of each to an obsessive amount in my head...lol
  14. Talk me off the ledge

Let us know what you think and how the EV6 compares after you drive it. I have a Mach-E ordered but I'm about 50/50 right now between the EV6 and Mach E... I haven't had a chance to drive either yet.

  16. Retail orders stopping Feb 11th

Actually if you're in California you'll have a much easier time finding an Ioniq 5 or EV6 at MSRP within the next few months. They aren't doing custom orders and I don't expect them to be nearly as popular as the mach-e since many people still have the "it's a kia" mentality. Also they are...
  17. Today's the last day to order a 2022 MME?

I placed my order two days ago and had the dealership call me today to have me send a picture of my license and my build sheet in order to convert my "reservation" into an actual order. They said today was the last day to do so for a 22.
  18. Buttigieg supporting charging network, showing off Mach-e [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

At least he didn't let any bone spur flare ups keep him from going.
  19. Retail orders stopping Feb 11th

So I got the update from Ford yesterday that the dealer accepted my reservation and then today I got an email from the dealership asking me for a picture of my drivers license and to confirm my order sheet so they could convert my reservation to an order. They said that today was the last day...
  20. Retail orders stopping Feb 11th

I'm in SoCal and there are a ton of Ioniq 5's on the lots... over 1,000 within 100 miles of LA in the past few weeks. I don't know if Hyundai is just producing more than say, Ford or VW or if its because they are only selling in 20 states instead of 50 so it just seems like more are coming in...
